The monster was perfectly revealed. You saw bits of him when the main guy whent into the market on the tv. He was lik muscly and stuff. And finally you saw him at the last battle right before they took cover under the bridge. You could completely see his front, his legs and arms. Cloverfield should have NEVER revealed this monster.Also the creature should have been like in 1:60, thats a little freaky. Thanks for posting anyways, nice scetches!

nice halo music ! Btw i hate the fact that the most highly featured scene in adverts for this film is the cheesyist. OMG The monster decided to decapitate the statue of liberty and it landed right next to us. Ok I mean maybe they felt they had to include a famous monument getting destroyed see as its a monster movie but the fact that adverts for this film focus on that scene does the film a diservice and has a feel of mars attacks. When really its much much better in the realism steaks

The thing that attacked New York is an alien you can tell because the final scene when they were in Coney Island and the camera was looking at the beach you can vaguely see a UFO crash in the water. If you don't know the ending song is called ROAR(Cloverfield Overture) I loved that song by the way!

Exactly what hunt4002 said. The Hatsui report documents a rogue piece of the ChimpanzIII satellite falling just off the coast of the Atlantic ocean. It's my guess that this is what caused the monster to awaken from the sea.

Besides, JJ himself said that the monster lived in the ocean for thousands of years.
