  • Its is good how you speak exactly the same language.

  • I love to watch a visitors perception of the UK, you remind me about the simple things I take for granted. The European's think our tape (faucets) are nuts too!

  • @joolsYBW erm, taps, it was a typo...

  • i like you you're different

  • @kazgful

Americans claim a heritage that is rightfully theirs through ancestry, they do not "connect themselves to their family's place of origin." Heritage and place of origin are two completely different things.

  • @kazgful I understand that. Someone called her Asian so I was sorta sticking up for her. Yes I hate those fake Irish n I'm English. -_-

  • Why do so many dumbdicks think they need a colour chart to work out a person’s nationality?

The reason for having separate taps for hot and cold, by the way, is to prevent the water coming out at a comfortable temperature.

  • she's asian? then the white Americans arent americans, theyre european!!

  • hey im from london and i think you're pretty funny ...nice vid

  • Get tae Glasgow, thats the place to be!

  • its funny because your japanese, not american

  • Anyway,,all racism here is just because you ain't hot and so you are chinese asian. in their mind, asian in america is supposed to be cute and sexy

  • There are many Asian Americans, you moron.

  • wheres the american? i joke but you are chinese right?

  • @ljherbert excuse me? are all asian chinese? are all american either white or black?

  • lol red is hot on tap blue is cold blue if you think ice red if you think fire

  • What do twinkies taste like? Ive never been to america so i just wondered.

  • Comment removed

  • Great editing. I really enjoyed that!

  • 'Shes looks asian to me...' - why did you bother posting that? So she looks asian she's not american? And what is asian? Indian? Vietnamese? Cambodian?????

  • AS you know, in modern warfare 3, a test has been shown that proves it has more FACTS in the game than any other.

and, What happened to the american tourists in london?

    Go find out.

  • she looks like asian to me.....

  • Nope, never say "p" - it makes you sound lazy and common.

  • @BobTheMunificent

no it doesnt thats what its called . Snob

  • @darkstar1345a Whoops - looks like I left out the smiley for the hard-of-thinking. Sorry about that.

  • @BobTheMunificent

looks like i left out superiority complex out of my comment as well

  • The taps at the top shows a color ; red for hot and blue for cold. :)

  • @Porkchoppa76 Um...It's America...country of multiple nationalities? Silly person.

  • @Anna

No, the US is a country of one nationality; a nationality you adopt when you immigrate. If you don't adopt it, you're not welcome, as it means you do not support the country. Children born here are American. They are not immigrants, they do not adopt the nationality, they are simply American; nothing else. Ethnicity and nationality are two completely different things. You speak of them as if they are the same. If you wish to remain a non-Citizen, then make plans to eventually leave.

  • DONT GO TO HAMPSTEAD HEATH ON YOUR OWN. ESPECIALLY NOT AT NIGHT. lol

  • Ha. Taps. Water comes from a boiler. Cold from the mains. You can mix the two in a single tap, but those were probably older than the USA itself! :D

  • 3:12 Confused? that's why they have colours, if they don't have colours on them trust me the left it the hot one.

  • then i started to notice some diferences like ur in a different country

  • @candyxx2810

I'm pretty sure she knows where she's at.

  • @candyxx2810 lol

  • You remind me of a female version of nigahiga. Have you heard of him?

  • I dont like it when americans come here and go sight seeing only, if your coming here you need to see the culture properly. Go for a night out to a nightclub or concert etc and go to a football game <3 or soccer game watever.

  • @FullThrottleGame The only culture they have in London is mosque weekly. To all Americans who are wanting to visit England I would fully recommend going to somewere like the lake district in Cumbria or Cornwall. These places are still untouched by Labours immigration flood and still hold on to the little countryside villages that people associate with England. The lake district and Cornwall is were you will see England. You will not see England in London. Trust me.

  • @soulofthenorth hahaha spot on

  • @soulofthenorth People should go to both. London has loads of culture. To say that the only culture there is Mosque is stupid. What about the black community? Caribean culture, African culture, Hindu culture, chinese culture (we have a chinatown here) and thousands of resturants serving Italian, French, English, Spanish, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Indian, Moroccan, Malay and many many more. Over 300 different languages are spoken in London. It is an incredibly cultured place.

  • @fluffymole0913 You obviously missed the point big time.

    I said ENGLISH culture...

  • @soulofthenorth No you didn't. The only time the word culture came up in your comment was when you said that "the only culture they have in London is Mosque weekly". My comment was a reply to that, saying that there is dozens of cultures in London. And further to that, the small villages are not what people associate as England. London is what people associate as England. If you think London is nothing like what England stands for, maybe you've never experienced it properly.

  • @fluffymole0913

I have experienced London and I felt like I was in a different country. Horrible place.

  • @soulofthenorth It's different to most of England because it has progressed. It's now very diverse, one of the most visited and one of the most populated cities on the planet, and still with very low crime compared to its size.

  • @fluffymole0913 'It's different to most of England'

Exactly mate. It is different to most of England which means it is not a real picture of England.

  • @soulofthenorth Never said it was. If you look at my first comment I said that people should visit both London and the places you proclaim to be the 'real England'

I just found it stupid that you would say London is a single culture place, it's a brilliant place. Everyone should go there. And they should also visit other places in the UK... Edinburgh, Cambridge, Lake District etc.

  • @fluffymole0913 When did I say London is a single culture place? Infact I said the complete opposite...

  • @soulofthenorth Quote: "The only culture they have in London is mosque weekly."

Note: the ONLY. Now what were you saying again??

  • @fluffymole0913 The quote you mentioned was obviously a dig at Londons large asian population. I did not think somebody would take it seriously.

  • @soulofthenorth Couple of things to say to that. You say asian, but you mentioned mosque which is Islam. Since when were all Asians islamic? 13.2% in London are South Asian descent, and 8.5% stated on the census that they are Muslim. Compare that to the 58.2% Christian and I really don't see how you can think there's a large Muslim/Asian population here, and even if there was, what would be the problem with it?

  • @fluffymole0913 You know what I meant smart arse.

  • @soulofthenorth You didn't answer my question. What would be the problem if there was a large Muslim/Asian community here?

  • @fluffymole0913 There would not be a problem. As I said before 'I did not think somebody would take it seriously.'

  • @fluffymole0913 You'd soon know if there was a large Muslim population..............just follow your nose.

  • @soulofthenorth

Please don't come to Cornwall we don't want you here.

  • @sp3cialone lol, implying I would ever want to set foot in Cornwall.

  • Instead of fountain head it should be Tap

  • What the hell is wrong with you people talking about her race? For crying out loud, so who freaking cares if she's Asian? (and Chinese/Japanese at that..)

Great video, hoping to move to London myself someday. The taps part totally cracked me up... I also don't get the sparkling water in Europe vs. the US, but oh well. Enjoying to look at more. :)

  • it was worth watching just for oscar peterson's version of the the girl from ipanema

  • @MrJanesaddiction So true! London is almost its own country! I personally hate it!

  • chinaman in england. not american

  • oh so " real american" only means white?. she may be chinese but chinese people have been in america for well over 100 years!, japanese also...not even including 1st generation americans

  • @jropz A "real American" would be a Brit that settled there.. They all died.

  • Warewolf.

  • I love London sooo flippin much

  • she is hmong american

    im pretty sure

  • Many modern sinks (specially in the kitchen) do have single taps now. 2 taps can be annoying it's either too hot or too cold when washing hands for example

  • You get confused about how to turn on water? Ermmm, ok.

  • im british n i say check n tick

  • @FreedomOfTheUSA2 Racist asshole, You claim you not a racist, but you prove you are a racist,

She is a better American the you.

  • It's a tap.

  • That tap system isn't a London thing...it's just an old fashioned sink! A more modern hotel would have a mixer tap!!

  • You turn on a tap and water comes out. We in the UK never call it a faucet - that word is never used here - it must be an invented American word.

  • shes chinese-american

  • @andrewtc2animasher NOOOO YA DONT SAY I THOUGHT SHE WAS FROM ZIMBABWE

  • Come to Brighton.

  • she gets confused with taps. she's an american alright

  • haha i normally put my hand under the hot tap until it burns then put it under the cold tap to cool it down Xb but I'm just special.

  • i'm loving the over the taps/water! Never has a subject caused so much banter! Now for my opinion: first of all, we don't all use two taps.My kitchen sink has a single tap that produces hot and cold, but obviously not from the same piping. Secondly, water also tastes different depending on the region you are in. Up in scotland the water can be very soft whereas down in London it is hard. Finally, people from both the US and UK who are arguing over water, be grateful you have clean drinking water

  • they are american. just because they have brown skin, you racist fuck!

  • @FreedomOfTheUSA As far as America is concerned she is Asian American. Seemingly well mannered too.

You are considered to be "Racist Trash" American. The type of Americans that "REAL" Americans look down on because you are a LOWER CLASS. You know.. the overly patriotic type that Europeans hate and give us a bad name? yeah that's you.

  • @whyeff21 Well said this fool is a racist.

  • ur not american, ur Chinese

  • Your photography is exquisite! ;)

  • Sweet

  • How can she not uderstand how the water system works , you have 2 taps RED is hot and BLUE is cold it's that easy.

  • @MyMerlin1 it's highly unsual for her because she's to having only ONE. NOT TWO

  • @anonymous5536 The only buildings in London that has One Tap / Faucet are for handicapped and retarded people.

  • @MyMerlin1 really? that's interesting because unlike Britain, the rest of the world is smart and uses one faucet because it's much easier and it makes more sense to install it that way. oh and uh, for the handicap and mentally disabled people, they also use, ONE FAUCET.....Jealous Prick ;)

  • @anonymous5536 UK regulations do not allow mixing mains (drinking) water with heated water in the body of the tap. This avoids drawing warm, potentially harmful (bacteria sustaining) water into the drinking water if the mains is turned off or loses pressure.

  • @MyMerlin1 well that might be how it is in the UK but not in the US....

  • Comment removed

  • @MyMerlin1 lol first of all, our water is purified before it comes back and the warm water kills germs xD. Second, no one drinks from the tap anyways lol. people drink from water bottles or more commonly, water that is already purified, runs through yet another purifier in the refrigerator so it's crystal clean and we get water from the tap built in the fridge. The only reason why someone would drink from the tap is if they didn't have that. besides that, the water in OUR taps are cleaner anyway

  • Comment removed

  • @MyMerlin1 they also have purifiers that go on the tap so that it is purified. We have a purifier on our tap but we dont need it cause here in Tennessee, we have the cleanest water in the U.S. and it tastes just like bottled water. It isn't like how it is overseas. It isn't like we are rinsing our foods in waste water. But if you drink water from the eastern side of Tennessee, instead of the west, you will not drink from the tap because it isn't as clean. Hope this helped you understand:)

  • @ErinsReadings It is similar here in that certain regions have fresher tasting water than others, but its all clean and for the purpose of drinking. It isn't advisable to drink from the hot water tap, it's not unclean but it isn't going to taste brilliant. There wont be many people wanting a glass of warm water to drink anyway unless they have some weird aqua fetish. The mains tap water here is legally required to be safe and of good quality to drink.

  • @EbsNhexz ,so do yall just put ice in it or what?Because like you said most people won't want to drink hot water

  • @ErinsReadings We don't drink out of the hot water tap. We drink out of the COLD water tap. If it's a hot day or something we might add ice, but its rarely a hot day over here. Lol these water conversations are funny.

  • @EbsNhexz lol I thought you said yall drink out of the hot water tap and i was like whattttt?lol

  • @MyMerlin1 umm buddy, it is different in America. In Britain, the water may not be clean from the taps, but in America it is, okay? got that?

  • @anonymous5536 In Britain we use an older system being our nation is like 2000 years old , your nation is only 234 years old.

  • @MyMerlin1 Exactly! We got the better end of the deal. We built our nation on very new and greatly improved stuff. Which is probably how we got so spoiled ;)

  • @anonymous5536 Nah you can drink the water from the taps in the UK it's perfectly clean. Don't go downing it from the hot water tap though, that is heated in a header tank most of the time.If people here put filters on the tap it isn't because the water isn't clean. In places like Kent the water has small elements of lime in it so you might filter for a pure taste. But in Cheshire it tastes amazing as is. But Its completely clean all over.

  • @EbsNhexz ahh I figured. Your British friend thought otherwise. xD

  • @anonymous5536 Yeah the hot water tap is a source of many misconceptions by those who use it, the water from it wont kill you it will just taste of stewed header tank copper.

  • @EbsNhexz lol that sucks

  • @anonymous5536 Don't get me wrong though, you can suck on the pure watery fresh goodness of the cold water tap until it spurts out of your eyes...anything less and we would brutally overthrow the government.

  • @EbsNhexz same here. we DEMAND perfection xD

  • @anonymous5536 the water coming out of my tap's perfectly clean, so shut the fuck up you generalising stupid prick.

  • @Nihilanth1982 wtf are you talking about? how was I generalizing about anything???? o.O

  • She don't look American.

  • @MyMerlin1 well she does to me. In America, it's not just white people, it's people of all races! Something America is about.

  • @anonymous5536 She looks Japanese

  • @MyMerlin1 she probably has Japanese blood in her but she's American.

  • @anonymous5536 Anyway she is in the Best City In The World London.

  • @MyMerlin1 hahahaha yeah sure she is xD

  • @anonymous5536 I know she is , london has so much history , great buildings , great people and the first city in the world to have a Underground train system - London Underground. The British did invent the train you know.

  • @MyMerlin1 yeah those are great but thousands of other cities are the same way ;). yes i know the british invented the train but americans really put it to good use over here. in fact, our country could have been very different without them since they built our country by making it easier for people to settle in the harsh west.

  • Yay for London and UCL. :D

  • Ha. When you tried to mix the cold and hot water that was freaking hilarious.

  • found the chavs yet?

  • Chinese or Japanese American you mean. Enjoy :)

  • @MrGrafted

Should i be called Spanish American?

  • @fLRedSpade lol! If your Spanish yeah..

  • @MrGrafted

    haha i was kidding

  • lol no when we say 'have you got your bag ready?'' for eg we do say ''check'' its just when your writing something like a form, it says tick the box because it is a tick lol

  • the mixed hot and cold tap is quite a new thing, it's only been around for a few years here in the UK. it makes a lot more sense. I guess it's been used in other parts of the world for decades.

  • @Colin75London Erm, not really.. i live in the UK and i've had the "mixed" tap for well over a decade...

  • @Colin75London ive had a mixed tap for over 15 years lol

  • @Colin75London how does it make more sense? that's great if you're filling something up with either hot or cold so you can get it right away but the whole washing your hands and everything looks difficult. you have like no room to wash your hands. and what if the water is too cold or too hot? it makes no sense to have separate faucets. silly British....;P

  • im english and as far as i kow no one says 'tick' and we have double taps as well as separate :D

  • @Rose1379xxx thats wot i jus sed, lol!

  • we don't say tick to everything, lol! we do have the one tap that does hot and cold aswell as two seperate ones

  • London was fucking freezing when I went! Well, I am from Los Angeles, so thats probably why I thought it was cold.

  • I'm in NewYork, and I have separate faucets

  • @MusikAndLuv Well done, have a biscuit.

  • GREAT! i NEED TO VISIT LONDON. MY MOM HAS BEEN TO LONDON, ENGLAND MANY TIMES. I LOVE GIRL FROM IPANEMA-ESPECIALLY THE ANTONIO CARLOS JOBIM VERSION. BEAUTIFUL GREENERY AND BIRDS, ARCHITECTURE....

  • @FayeB01 Yeah see look at that. I haven't eaten at a shit hole McDonalds in years, nor any other fast food place. The only people that eat fast food are people that are either poor or are too busy to make meals. Then they usually get fat off that. Britain is catching up rapidly though. More and more fast food places are popping up, and your obesity rates are rising 2.6 times as fast for adults, and 4 TIMES as fast for kids, than Americans. SUCK ON THAT FAT FUCKS.

  • @fatboy22222222222222 Are you fucking joking. So I guess all American fighters use guns. Yeah that makes sense. That's also another thing, British people have the dumbest excuses even when they lose fair and square. All British people do, especially you Londoners, is instead of fist fighting like real men, you stab each other. There is way more fatal stabbings in Britain then there is gun fatalities in the U.S.. I could break you in half also. What's your main lift stats, buddy?

  • @webeglitchin did you just say there are alot more knife related deaths in England than there is gun related deaths in USA?

In 2008 there were 322 knife related deaths.. in the UK..

In 2008 there were between 25,000 - 30,000 gun related deaths.. in the USA..

How have you come up with the conclusion that UK had more fatal stabbings than there were gun fatalities in the USA.. come on now..

Also think ur British people fight alot like "real men".. jus go out in London on a friday night..

  • @konartis5 I did not research before I typed that statement. However, there is a higher percentage of stabbing related homicides in the UK, than there is gun related homicides in the U.S.. Now I'm talking about murders carried out with guns and knives, because over half of U.S. gun deaths are suicides. So if you really look at it, there were 18,734 homicides total in the U.S. in 2008. Only about 54% of those are gun related. So if you take into account are large population and amount of guns...

  • @webeglitchin

Of course there is a higher percentage of stabbing related homicides given that we don't have guns. I am sure that if these people had guns they would use them instead. The fact is we have had around 300-350 knife murders a year for the last few years. Given that we have 1/5 of the population of the USA that is still proportionately far less murders with knifes than there are murders with guns in the USA.

  • @konartis5 It really isn't all that bad. Also, many countries, such as Guatamela, and Columbia, have much higher gun related homicide percentages than the U.S..

  • @webeglitchin obviously countries like Guatamela and Colombia have higher percentages cus they shit-holes and the Police are as corrupt as the gangs

  • @konartis5 I guess the UK is a shit-hole, and the police are corrupt, seeing how they have one of the highest knife crime rates. Of course this is based off your logic.

  • Comment removed

  • Stop making both countries look bad and stop fighting.

  • @ilikefoodxD I TOTALLY AGREE

  • @fatboy22222222222222 You won't do shit you little pussy. English people are known for their mouths but can't really back it up. Just look at the UFC. There is some good British fighters but no greats. Just look at what happened to Michael Bisping. Your best fighter was knocked out in the second round. Michael Bisping did almost no damage to Dan Henderson, and he just toyed with him. You arrogant, miserable, bastards can't do anything, but piss and moan at anything and everything.

  • @FayeB01 Why do you think all Americans are Rednecks!? Fuck off and stay on your miserable little island.

  • @fatboy22222222222222 Hi, I am an American and I live in London.

Just to tell you if I ever do meet you and you attempt to assault me, I will take a rusty knife cut, cut off your genitals, mince them, feed the mush to your family followed by forcing you to eat what they defecate. Do you understand me you fat piece of gay shit? TRY ME. FUCKING TRY ME.

  • @X46RAPTOR Do Americans drink tea?

  • Comment removed

  • @FayeB01 I am American and live in London and you do all drink tea. No need to be offensive now.

  • hey!! great vid by the way :D listen im thinking of moving up to london to do my masters but there are a number of itsy bitsy things that are troubling me....

mainly..ACCOMODATION and things like mobile phones, electricity water and all that. dont know if you've already answered these questions but mayb u could still help ?

  • how was it?

  • At 1:57, that's by UCL, my old alma mater! I miss it so much!!

  • I too was amazed by England. What do you think, would you move there permanent?

  • @fatboy22222222222222 Oh how friendly you make the Londoners sound.

  • WAHH, I want to go to London SOOOO bad!!! Watching your vids is good enough though, I guess, haha. ;)

  • You fucking traitor
