  • nice!

  • I listened to this song all the time in Iraq calmed me down and made difference

  • Kenny Wayne is sooooo talented! Love this song and the lead singer's voice....AWEEEEESOME!

  • Love him, and yes he does sing some of the songs. You kick ass Kenny Wayne

  • This is a fantastic song! Great to just sit back and jam to

  • No he didn't. Corey Sterling was KWS's original singer on Ledbetter Heights.

  • well im annoyed i cant comment on his deja voodoo vid. but man ive honestly never found anyone else who absolutely NAILLSSSS srv's tone as he does on that vid its so uncanny!!

  • Comment removed

  • who is the lead singer? I always thought KW sang this, evidently I was wrong.

  • His name is Noah Hunt, KWS had a different singer for Ledbetter Heights, his first album, named Corey Sterling I believe

  • kenny did sing on his 4th album

  • He is going to be at the long beach blues fest this year along with Johnny Winter along with other blues bands which I can't remember.

  • man this song fuckin rocks

  • i heard this song a thousand times on the radio and never knew who it was when i found out it was KWS i freaked out i love his music

  • I'm looking or the "Non Live" version. The one I hear often at night when driving home :) ... (Itune doesn't have it)

  • the cd's called, "Trouble is" they carry it in the blues section at FYE... it'll run you about 17 bucks. I know... I just bought it yesterday. I'd say worth the money. Cheaper online.

  • i know i have been looking for that one to but i havent find it mmm i hope someone soon upload the video thanks by the way pretty good video freaking awsome song lol

  • Who is that monster drummer?!

  • Why not just download it?

  • Effects are useful but, when you can actually play, it helps. This song has effects but it is the bitch to their genius. So, work harder @ it Martha Faulker!

  • im not quite sure of what you're saying... are you saying that kenny wayne shepherd needs to work harder at his guitar playing?! his technique is all but flawless...

  • No i was saying that when you are as good as he is the effects are secondary to his talent. Some musicians over use effects to offset their lack of talent/skill. He uses them correctly because he is in total command. I see how my first statement was a bit confusing.

  • Effects have nothing to do with talent. It's just about what tone or sound your trying to achieve for a song. Look at Satriani. He is no stranger to effects and I would not exactly say he has no talent.

  • No Offense, but clean out your damn ears, you idiot, Kenny's guitar playing and the rest the play guitar, play it very well =]

  • Before you throw around insults why don't you try to get what my point ACTUALLY was you stupid cunt! I wasn't saying Shepherd isn't a great guitar player - HE IS! I was saying too many half assed guitar players hide behind effects, of which, he is not one!! Get It? Got IT? GOOD! Clean out your god damn brain.

  • Are you a homo?

  • No, I'm not but, I bet you have some seriously bucked teeth and some massively cahpped lips!! What was that fag? I can't understand you when you talk with your mouth full. Also try talking to me through a mic and an equalizer so you can cut out that high pitched lisp you got. Add a little bass too so you can sound like at least half a man for the first time in your dainty little life.

  • if any of you ever get a chance to see them live, do it - you'll never forget it, awesome!

  • God I want to see them live so bad.

  • Freakin awesome song....how can u listen to this and not want to move your hips!!! oHhhh Yeahhhhh

  • I love this song, its so chill.......

  • I'm gona be able to play with Kenny in April!

  • I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THIS SONG FOR YEARS.... I'VE GOT IT now... it is the bomb.... gonna be good to trip on when i travel....blue on black...yeahhhhhhh!!!!!!! brings back good days.....smoking!!!!!!!

  • I'm glad you finally found it !!!

  • Ya know i love Kenny Wayne Shepherd, but this song sounds alot like "Livin in a Dream" by the Arc Angels

  • blue on black tears on a river push on a shove it don't mean much joker on jack match on a fire...

  • i really lyk this song i wish i could find it with the lyrics i acnt understand wht comes after blue on black .......somthin on a river ????? =]

  • blue on black tears on a river push on a shove it don't mean much joker on jack match on a fire cold on ice its a dead mans touch. whisper on a scream doesn't change a thing, doesn't bring you back, BLUE ON BLACK MATE!

  • Kenny does sing lead on one of his later tours and CD's. I got to see him. He's the most powerful, charismatic performer I have seen. I've seen George Harrison, Neil Young and many other greats, but none of them had the impact Kenny did. He made the whole venue feel like it would take off for the stars. The best thing was it was a free performance at FoxFest north of Grand Rapids, MI.

  • Great live performance! Thanks for posting it!!!!!

  • i thuoght the blonde guy was kenny whayne

  • it is, he doesnt sing this song, he is just the guitarist. its like the band van halen, its named after eddie, but he doesnt do the singing.

  • You are right. Kenny W. Shepherd sings background vocals, harmonizes, but is not the lead singer. The lead singer is like Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, singing, with others playing. Normally the "frontman" is also the guitarist, so it's confusing to a lot of people. Think of either Derek Trucks who plays blues but doesn't sing in his band, or Robin Trower, same thing.

  • thanks man i wasnt sure if he sang lead or not

  • His name is Noah Hunt

  • No problem! I love the blue on black song.. By the way, his real name isn't Kenny Wayne Shepherd, its Kenny Wayne Probst. LOL.

  • the blonde guy w/ long hair is kenny wayne shepherd the guy that sings is noah hunt

  • We went to see a band in Nashville several years ago(Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies) in Nashville. KWS stood right beside us for a large part of the show, and then was called up on stage by SCW frontman Mike Farris. They did an awesome version of Red House, and a couple of other tunes that blew us away. He was totally cool, and wish he would make an apperaence back in Nashville.

  • killer guitar solo

  • You are right . Really nice solo.

  • was this kid weaned off SRV, sounds just like him!

  • That dudes vocals are MONEY! I always thought KWS was the singer. My bad. Does he sing any songs at all?

  • yes Kenny sings some songs on the latest studio album.

  • from my own hometown, talented as hell, and at such a young age.

  • is that a guy praying at the top left of the screen with his or her arms crossed?

  • thought he was holding something like a microphone, but it does sorta look like it now that you mentioned that, lol.

  • he looks like bam

  • Excellent live performance! Sounds just like the album track. Thank you for sharing it!

  • the person behind them looks 10 feet tall

  • DC is the most under rated music location in the globe: think Little Feat in 78......

  • this pretty fucking awsome......

  • Wish they would play Canada...these guy just rock! It's like listening to Seger in the late 70's-what a feeling!

    Rose

  • they sound as better? you are retarted !

  • They sound as better live then on cd most bands suck live sweet vid!

  • Yeah, Noah has this unique voice, sounds like hes been through a lot

  • Kenny doesn't have to sing, his guitar sings. And Noah, you make me shiver baybee.

  • Kenny acts like he could care less about being there????

  • He does at 2:17 ... listen agan, he gets into it a bit more at 2:17. But I do see what you mean in most other parts. Maybe it's just not his style to jump around like Steve Tyler??

  • dont drink and type, stupid.kws is great.this song it gets me all choked up.

  • You mean don't, right? Hey stupid, don't smoke and try typing at the same time, they don't mix.

  • For me It has been a very disappointment to state that Kenny Wayne can't sing!!!!! :-(((((

Anyway, for me he remains a great and immense blues guitarist:Kenny, the future of guitar is your!!!!!!

  • Some people can play blues but do not have a bluesy voice, sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad. Kenny can whale on a guitar, and that's good enough for me, and by your comment it's good enough for you, too. Keep on listening and take care.

  • i love this song, and i always liked live versons. KWS is awsome, my fav blues artist. thanks for the vid

  • great song! amazing solo! thanx for posting :)

  • This was from his 10 Days Out tour. If you can get to see this tour do it! Between the obvious, KWS and Noah along with Double Trouble, they showcase some old school bluesmen that still rock. Well worth the ringing in the ears for the next day or 2. Thanks for posting!

  • Thanks for posting!! =) I love KWS and Noah!!!!!! =) And love this song
