i watched it last year on TV, i loved it, said to myself that it was the best damn movie i ever saw...

last weekend i downloaded it to my PC... to watch it again, the movie i long missed, i thought to myself "there is no way i'll think this is the best movie i ever seen" i just finished watching it i still say the same thing!!!

Very touching... turning convicts into heroes! And pushing the USMC Colonel to the point of cracking and turning into a criminal. Try watching a documentary about a correctional facility, after that let's talk about acting kindly towards the convicts! Excessive force should never be used against convicts, but neither should excessive kindness be shown.. after all, it is not a walk in the park. Let's just hope we never find out how a prison looks like on the inside

This movie was very well done and shows the 2 types of leadership most prominent in the ARMY. Leading through fear and leading through respect and you can clearly see that from 2:11 to 2:13.
