  • Good animation showing how a PEG is inserted

  • O wow..

  • This video could turn an anorexic to obesity in no more than 10seconds.

Felt kinda sick after watching that. I tend to visualise it happening to me and that just creeps the crap outta me.

  • Gastroscoma in inflammation of pancreas , not such a good idea:)))

  • Abigails G-Tube(peg)

  • Nice video, my son just had a PEG installed by the push method. It's good to see exactly how it was done.

  • Great patient education info on PEG (feeding) tube placement.

  • Excellent 3D animation depicting a PEG procedure. Very informative!

  • Fascinating 3D animation on feeding (PEG) tubes! I always wondered how they were put in.

  • What a creative way to explain the PEG procedure. Reading about it, it sounds scary - - but watching it makes it so much easier to understand! Beautiful animation.

  • this is a fantastic 3d medical animation. I'm thankful to understand the PEG procedure after watching this animation.

  • Very interesting, I really enjoy these videos. They get me pumped up for nursing school :). I hope I never have to have a feeding tube inserted into me :(.

  • is that uncomfortable?

  • @KevMzz No, not exactly... But it means that your body is in a traumatic state, which is never good D:!

  • @KevMzz

at first it was then after a month or so it all settled,,putting the food down is a different story,,i have had a peg for five years as i cant swallow,,at times i get stomach pains and feel sick often but it could be worse so just get on with it,,i have got it for the rest of my life so guess have to get used to it,lol

  • Excellent.

I would prefer the Push method though as it seems to me that it is simpler and less 'traumatizing' for the patients while still being safe...

Any comment on which method is preferable please? :) Thanks.

  • that looks pleasant :/

  • nice to know how it works :3

  • @KoolFlowerPower but not the first to comment something intelligent or relevant to the video that people would actually care for :P but i thought this vid was interesting, always thought they just stuck a long rube down your throat, and poured mashed potatoes or something
