wow, I thought I was the only freak out there that goes to bars to enjoy being social - but hates drinking. I've done everything you've mentioned in this video and it all works. God bless
Let me find out if anybody discovered of DietOramy unwanted weight loss plan plan (google to learn more)? I've discovered about it from a friend who really burned many fat, however he's a type of a nut, so is there anyone mainstream out there :O to be able to testify the actual value of this unwanted weight loss plan plan?
This is the answer plain and simple. Alcohol is good for you....when your old. It improves your heart valves. It is not good for you when you are young. In your 40's UP it's healthier for you to have a drink a night than not, our bodies are built to need yeast fermentation but if you drink too much you act dumb and retarded and it counteracts the point. So your better off being a light drinking than nothing at all but if you can't handle LIKE ME just quit.
Hey! Have you tried intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my work buddy lost a lot of weight with it.
The best time is to go out and not drink and have a blast and have EVERYONE notice. This shows others drinking is a waste. People, we are not children anymore, drinking is soooo last century. If I have to hide my behavior from a bunch of drunks around me, I probably should look at my own confidence level. Funny that people feel compelled to hide their good behavior from those with no values. It's no measure of mental health to blend in with sickness.
There's a reason why they call it intoxication. You've ingested a toxic substance. IN-TOXIC-ation. So when someone gets drunk - after 2 drinks or so there is mood change, so intoxicated (drunk) - are they going to be as concerned about their body, health, diet and spirit? Drink alcohol at your own peril. I seriously would rather eat a big mac than ingest a single drop of the toxin called alcohol. What I miss most about alcohol? Ice coffee witih real vanilla. But I don't do coffee anymore either.
I agree with you that drinking is NOT a requirement for having fun with your pals. I've had to give up some friends because they try to push me to eat or drink certain things that I dont agree with! Especially Liquor! I've noticed that since I've gone vegan (not quite 100% raw just yet ) that it really has lowered my tolerance for alcohol, so I just decided it was better not to drink anymore!
@GebIsis04 Baby its all about being true to yourself and I know how it feels when other preasure they don't mean to they are just ignorant. I wish there was more ppl like you in my town we could start a group....*So hard being the outkast even when you don't try.)
Natasha you continue to be an inspiration and a guide as I continue down the path to good health. I was a heavy drinker not long ago, so these tips will be VERY useful.
@tacoeater123456 Ha! I just told a group of drunks at a treatment center that very thing. I give talks up there to 40 of some of them every week and I often tell them, "I always believed in a higher power. Alcohol! It was my higher power for many years." Yes, it is a powerful feeling, being drunk; and if it still worked as a higher power, I would still be doing it! But, alas, something drunks need to get straight: alcohol stops working!
You're so radiant! This was honestly so inspirational- I totally agree with a lot of your points about going out and being social and not feeling the pressure to drink. Your outlook on life is awesome and should be something that everybody strives for. Take care!
Very devious of you Natasha. All of those years spent working in a bar have paid off. When I used to drink I hated going into a pub, because people were just buying me pints of beer - to the point that they were all lines up on the bar and I couldn't keep up. I figured out that there is at least one serious heavy drinker in every bar, so I used to go and stand next to him or her and eventually the pints of beer kept disappearing, and they got used to me and always came to stand next to me :-)
Natasha, I recently saw documentary which showed that alcohol penetrates the mucus lining of the stomach and can injure the stomach wall. In addition, the alcohol requires alot of work from the liver to process. And apparently, the liver, at optimal level, can only process about 1 oz of alcohol per hour. If the person takes more than that amount, they cause injury to the body. I will post a clip from the doc later.
I might be late, but this was such a great video. I made a personal decision to stop drinking last year, and ever since then people have been pressuring me to drink. I always refuse, but it seems like every time I refuse I come off as stuck up. I never really thought about faking it, but now I'm really going to consider it. Thanks!
@evapitts "I always refuse, but it seems like every time I refuse I come off as stuck up." that's sad man people either got stfu or be proud of ur decision to choose health don't worry you'll be riding off into the sunset in no time! lol can you dig it! lol
Proserven, i believe natasha was qualifying her statement and that IS being careful. Btw, if we're being picky today its "once" not ones. Careful is as careful does. Sorry, but she's trying to do something nice and I caught someone throwing stones. It just came off so holier than thou.
How can you say that you don't drink alcohol and in the same breath said that you drinks wine ones' every six month or ones a year? you should be more careful and conscientious of your process and don't lie for that...
I just want to say thank you for inspiring me to take the step forward of what i've been so hesitant to start. You have some really great insight and advice in your videos. Diabetes and health issues have been an issue in my family for years. This is something that i've thought about for a while and its videos like yours that are now making me take that first step whil i'm still in my 20's..so thanks again :-)

Thanks Natasha! I'm starting your juice fast program on June 1st and I'm a wine drinker. I stopped drinking wine last night because I'm preparing for the juice fast, but I was wondering if I should stop drinking permanently. I had a feeling the answer was probably yes, and now I know...
It is really amazing: I am an ALCOHOLIC, with a normally HUGE tolerance for booze, especially beer and wine. However, since going raw, every time I go to drink wine, even a little, I get smashed REAL fast!! Eventually it came down to health or feeling crappy. I chose health :)
Great video. the last 3 minutes really spoke to me; being able to have a good time and inspire others without drinking. It reminds me of a lyric from a Redhotchilipeppers song that goes, "It's such a waste to be wasted in the first place - I want to taste-the-taste of being face-to-face with common grace"
In the words of Jamie Lee Curtis "remove the word like from your vocabulary". What's left, well, the intelligent person that we want to get advice from rather than an 80's valley girl.
Well said. Thank you so much. I just started my raw adventure and lately I haven't felt like drinking or smoking (it's against what I'm going for...healing and health.) Thanks for the tips, I'm gonna use tomorrow when I go out. : )
Everyone should just be themselves... not FAKE it.... not try and be someone you're not.... heck, they're not your friends if they don't accept that you don't drink.... the message isn't to be FAKE... it should be to be TRUE to yourself :)

Fabulous!! Thanks so much Vegan Princess for the invite btw, much appreciated!! You never know I may one day be on your side of the country!! (and away from the cold!! :)
.. its stil in the beginning stages and lots of gaps to fill in.. but I wil definately keep you posted on my progress. Thanks for your support and you always have mine as well! :-)
I haven't had any alcohol for over 5 years. I did a load of cleanses over a 2 year period and once my liver got squeeky clean, even half a glass of wine would make me feel sick .. so I stopped completely.
I love not drinking and how clear my mind has become!
Another glass of whiskey, but it still don't kill the pain He stumbles to the sink and pours it down the drain He said it's time to be a man and stop living for yesterday Gotta face it i don't wanna spend my life jaded, waiting To wake up one day and find That i let all of these years go by wasted I don't wanna keep on wishing, missing The still of the morning, the color of the night I ain't spending no more time wasted la da da da di !!!
I make ecchanacea and rosemary during the winter, i start it on the new moon and start using it two weeks later on the full moon because of the natural drawing energy of the moon. I also like pauD'arco and dandelion root. I am really excited about doing a Reishi mushroom tincture next month. Making your own tinctures is fun cuz you can make them as potent as you like. Daniel Vitalis is the real expert though, he got me into them.
I'm actually going to be ordering my Reishi cuz i havent had much luck here on the west coast. I know they are all over the place back east. Yes I am a certified herb, berry, and spring hunter! haha I love the ocean, but oddly enough I havent been to the beach in months. I definately see myself living near the ocean in the future.
Thats definately a plan of mine, although I havent been doing it for very long, I always carry a couple wild edible books with me. I got into it after learning about the boutenkos. I have something big brewing, I am going to develope a business to include several services and activities relating to living foods, nature, tinctures, and law of attraction

For me, alcohol itself isn't the problem. It's that it's supposedly normal to get drunk and to go against that is the difficult thing.
Alcohol creates the anxiety that makes people want to keep drinking.
