I remember Clark changing his clothes when he was starting to be superman. It was a funny scene in the bathroom of the daily planet, with clark trying to fix his new red boots. Maybe was the 3rd chapter. Lois y Clark has a lot of good moments for the superman mythos.
No, he Eurasian. He's half Japanese. I saw his father. His biological father is full blooded Japanese. He was born Dean Tanaka. There's so much misinformation on the internet, including the Wikipedia, in which any idiot can post information.
@dissyfit Yeah I agree. It seems like he really didn't try to make Superman and Clark Kent two different people. Just my opinion, but NOBODY lives up to Christopher Reeve.
Its a different attempt for a superman, really yoiu can't have the same character in all of the movies/series even in comics the are lots of Superman versions.
I adore the 90's and this show - my personal favorite Superman adaptation. Dean Cain is definitely the most handsome Clark ever. Teri Hatcher shines here and her haircut was epic. Also Tracy Scoggins's Cat should've been in more seasons. Very nice & entertaining series. I loved many TV shows in the 90's - this one, Acapulco H.E.A.T., The X Files, La Femme Nikita, Melrose Place, Spy Game, RoboCop The Series, L.A.Heat, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Pretender, Babylon 5, SeaQuest, MK Conquest, Amazon, Lexx
Superman would firstly never ponce around when someone is crying for help...secondly then change and stand there posing while the person is still calling for help, then thirdly..keep crossing his arms because he clearly has'nt got the ''SIZE'' or look Superman should have... thank God for Smallville
@apollonas101 The reason why he did that cause he felt sorry for what he had done to lois, and ths forth did not want to leave lois kning she was upset. and dean cain is hell of a lot more muscle then this new guy in smallville.
@domamania thats funny, because neither did he measure up tto Tom Welling in height or muscle when he had cameo in Smallville, but dean cain also said on lettermen how suprised he was at Tom Welling in stature and size, saying Tom had the perfect size and height for Superman, lets face it...cain is okay actor but nxt to the likes of Tom Welling..he's considered complete wimp...im sorry
@apollonas101 tom welling is taller but dean cain in his superman dean cain was more built, remember dean cain was in his 40s when he did the cameo apperance during smallville, and after 40 the human body starts to age and thus forth puts on more fat or gets skinnier, but the conclusion loses muscle mass. also with dean cain being a former pro FOOTBALL PLAYER, he never needed padding for the superman custome cause he was naturally built athelete.
Well , it was hard too take Dean Cain seriously anyway. Compared too Christopher Reeve , he might as well be making Baby Noisies. But the show was still pretty enjoyable for a while , until it jumped the shark.
I always loved the 'super-spin' in Lois & Clark, even though it didn't really make any sense why Clark would need to spin around in circles while changing into Superman!
And yeah, it does exist in every version of Superman (including some early comics), so it's not just a copy of a Wonder Woman thing.
@Nuclearman2 Which comics were these? In the old comics Ive seen (and ive seen many from the 30s - 2000s) Clark doesnt do any spinning changes...super speed changing (while running, falling,in the broom closet ,in water) maybe...the Superman movies created this technique, starting with the 1978 movie
i liked how dean cain version superman spin in and out his suit i mean what if he couldn't change in a alleway or closet and wha if he had to change quick and that episode was from we have a lot to talk about the first episode of season 3.

Tacky. Did he learn how to do that from watching re-runs of Wonder Woman once too often? No more insipid, camp, Peter Pan pantomime performances. Bring back a REAL Superman to the franchise and put some life and soul into it

I loved Lois and Clark, but I thought the whole "super-spin-change" thing was sooo stupid. It's not Superman-like at all, it's more like the Mask (Jim Carey).

One thing that really bothered me about L&C.... he was always posing with his arms folded, like "look at me, I'm a badass huh?" lol.

The guy might as well have died cause Superman waited and posed for so long.

@jayce79, lol so true. I don't remember in the Superman films him being like that. In the series he's such a smug, cocky bastard.

This spinning transformation is Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter) style not Superman
Superman should have his own style when he changes into his costume
The only thing thats missing is the ball of light when Clark spins and becomes superman LOL!
