I totally love this!!! Had a few years back a teacher who did something similar to this, but not the same. He had us in grids and would make us work around the steps like in a grid. It was very chanllenging and fun. Thanks for this clip!!
interesting concept w/this step and how you have them so close together..ballet-like. so you are calling the steps/they're not learned combos? 'like the quick, quick taps around the step-that timing is challenging to learn, yes?
Thanks for your comment "Starrstep" we arrange the students in neat rows rather than allowing them to place their steps randomly about the room to promote unity and attention to detail. Also, in Footworks we do "formations" like the "Daisy" called at the beginning of the clip and the "Queasy Round" where certain groups do one move while other groups do other things...all at the same time. Footworks is as much about training the mind as it is about training the body. Thanks for subscribing
