lechlade definitely was on a roundabout.....carlos's massive truck at the entrance.....lots of lakes and i believe someone died in them? is that ozrics playing in the background? :)
Thank you for uploading this it took me right back all that self reliance and fresh veg, random roaming dogs sniffing out unwanteds, i remember the weather was on our side and a subculture was developing into a self sufficient society. I RARELY SAW MONEY CHANGE HANDS AT THESE THINGS it was all favours and skill swapping that i remember. Maybe that is what scared the authoritaes so much .... i remember laws passed in following years to deal with.. thanks again i briefly feltmybloodrushlikeold...
yeap,remember this one,long mission from various sites from which raves had been moved on from,then arrived here and got to relax,had amazing head massage on acid from traveller girl,met a lover to be,haley,top sunshine and freedom at this one,one bloke acosted haley and me to his vehicle in which he had a tv set face down on 4 bricks projecting interference colours onto a carpet of creased tin foil..which reflected 3dimensional coloured flares back off it,'you have to see this'he wasnt wrong..!
drove down friday (from warks) drove back sat'day.. drove back saturday night came home sunday.. Also dropped a ufo ;).. was my first free festival.. opened my eyes.

From what i understand Lechlade took place on a roundabout. Smeatharpe was definitely an old airfield in Somerset.

top party, got there on the saturday and me and my mates bought a whole sheet of UFO acids.
the sunday was absolutely beautiful, really hot and great music. thanks for the video.

This brings back some memories!
I remember being sat watching TV with my parents when the report came on the local
news saying there was an illegal rave going on at Smeatharpe airport and thousand of people were descending
on the area. Within minutes the phone rang and a mate informed me he was coming to pick me up.
Two days later I returned home looking like an extra from the Thriller video.
...I blame Spiral Tribe.
