Stoning is found in the hadith which is written by men unlike Holy Quran because Quran is completely written by Allah. Moreover, Allah promised to guard the quran, but he didn't make any promise to guard the hadith. So, its hard for me to believe Muhammad (saw) goes out of the way of Allah and made new law about stoning. Peace

People usually only discuss (hijaab) in the context of women. However, in the Glorious Qur'an, Allah (swt) first mentions (hijaab) for men before (hijaab) for the women. The Qur'an mentions in Surah Noor:
"Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do."

Qur'an imparted so-called rights to women; as long as piety and total obedience are observed then they will be mostly unharmed. If you can't see how cynical the entire basis of Islamic faith is then my few words won't make any difference to you. Incidentally, over-all I just feel terrible pity for muslims

Hafsa is an example of how Muslim women should not be afraid to speak their minds. Men who are sexist, however, will take advantage of the word "obedient" and will demand that their wife has to do whatever he says. That is not right, so no one cannot blame Islam for that.
