  • hah, I saw that as it hit, pretty wild! Wooo Fraser Rd.

  • i live in lismore not far from here and we could see that craziest nastiest clouds from our work and someone even said they looked like tornado clouds.great film.

  • tis a wee kookaburra on me sporan be gon wit ya cacklin ye smarmy beastee!

  • well filmed!

  • lol i rememba wen that happened, i live just half an hour or so from there, and if i rememba correctly we had a freak hailstorm in the same week.. at least im pretty sure it was then =/

anywayz it destroyed the church in dunoon, as well as a whole lot of otha damage, but yer i rememba going and having a look at dunoon later on in the week and it looked like the church had been bombed or something, i think it was like.. double brick or something wasnt it? and the tornado just annihilated it..

  • yea and it was about a week before that the hail one hit. i was there for both storms (in goonellabah and time of both) and they both scared me. don't know why the twister one did coz it wasn't wuch where i was. bad feeling about it at the time i guess. i was also in brisbane on the 16th november and all 3 storms had enough power to damage each area rather well. they all visible had power!(in the cloud before hand- not just the damage)

  • Even the Kookaburra was'nt laughing & new something was up!!! Bloody awesome. I'm a storm spotter in brisbane and i can honestly tell you that i have waited my whole life to see something like that and have'nt even come close. What you have their my friend could well be one of the most historically important pieces of australian weather footage that thier ever has been. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!

  • a fine piece of filming which is succinct and to the point.

  • @tightshorts3 wow - you won't catch me going to Scotland in a hurry!

  • Awesome video there! Rapid motion and it's easy to see the rotation just prior to the tornado! Love how the tornado gets rain wrapped at the end too! Nice Work!

  • is this the dunoon is scotland or somwhere else

  • This is Dunoon, N.S.W. Australia.

  • ...yeeess if Scotland had Kookaburras and Aussie accents...
