I understand people who say that guitar players should tune their own guitar, but the robot tunning would be very useful at gigs where tha t epic song that you wrote requires a different tunning. This has happened to me before and I had to get my friend to tune it while I played a different song.

To speed up this process not only ensures the guitars is in tune more often, but that they don't waste any time tuning it.

Additionally it can automatically tune the guitar to specific keys, not something performers can quickly do between songs.

Its not because of having ears or brain, begginers who have enough money to buy this guitar wont have to struggle that much learning the tunes to play songs from the favorite bands, and if you are a live musician you dont need to carry 3 or 4 guitars tuned differently, you can just tune this up with the robot thing right at the stage, it just makes your life as a musician much easier

@keithgatti I change my strings every month. Every time they are changed, for nearly 2 days the guitar will need retuned to a total of about 40 times as the strings stretch into tension and the post clink through.

This isn't about laziness, it's about economic function.

It's very obvious you are not a good guitar player if you haven't developed hate for retuning yet.

This would make more sense for a strat that gets out of tune from the vibrato bar live. I guess if you want to change tunings quick during a show without having many guitars it would be practical. Other wise it is not really worth spending too much for this feature

If there was an acoustic kit that had self-tuning shells, then you may have a valid question. But, there isn't-therefore you = non sequitur
