@Bilco1949 - the beast on guitar is a guy called steuart smith, he is currently playing with the eagles. i LOVE the way with this video, waylon turns round and simply smiles/laughs in dis-belief at one of steuarts guitar licks, remember waylon has played with EVERYBODY and so its tough to impress someone of that experience, yet steuart still manges it! what a great player! :D

Fantastic video. Waylon is a legend and will live forever!! Rodney Crowell is brilliant, and that guy in the background playing the 'AWESOME' guitar is Steuart Smith who is by now the unofficial 5th 'Eagle'.... He replaced Don Felder in the Eagles when Don left....He's doing a great job three too.........FANTASTIC

Rosanna Cash told this story when they (she and Rodney) were going together. She took him to john and june's house for the weekend. She went to her Dad and him/hawed about she and Rodney wanted to sleep together there. John looked up at her and said, I don't know him well enough to even miss if he were gone. I have to guess the answer was no. Who wants to argue with J Cash?

Rodney Crowell is like wine....he absolutely has gotten better with age. Not to take away from his early successes, which are substantial, but his last four cd's are just friggin' awesome.
