WoW = capital Cities that after raided dont change (just get horrible lag and about a billion guards all over)
WAR = Capital Cities that after raided if successful are bent at the opposing factions will. Also if your faction is doing very well on your realm the city will "level up" meaning it will go from being dingy to being a beautiful or fearsome city that is a true jewel to your faction.

In my opinion this game is going to be great, right now blizzard is making at least 15,000,000 dollars per MONTH. If anything it will pull people off WoW hopefully. This game definitely looks interesting and congrats to the fellas that decided to make it. However, my only gripe would be that the combat doesn't seem to involve much motion, as in, moving/running. Combat seems like a stand-still experience... Seeing as the game isn't out yet, and this is older footage, problems in this video are probably fixed or have been altered :)

Are you kidding me? The game looks beautifull compared to wow. Its got realtime char shadows, more bump mapping, characters are more detailed, their are reflections in the water (wich wow doesnt have).

The story of orcs,elves,dwarvs ect has been around for centuries nobody copied anyone, they just built off of what was around in folk lore from different cultures. the only difference between the two is the style of play and story line. And yes I play both.
Notice this people Warhammer did come out 1983 and Bliz came out in 1995. Bliz made there big MMO before Warhammer did but... they used ideas of Warhammer and D&D to make there basics. I'm gald they are finally making it big instead staying on the basics or board games.
If im not mistaken im pretty sure there are positional combat skills, meaning you may have to be on the side to use one, behind for one, inf ront for another... kinda like DAOC Mercs and whatnot, being why ppl dont randomly push WASD like in WoW to make it look like they are cool in PvP

there will be 40 ranks, which is the same as levels. The game wont be based that much on levels though, more on RvR combat and other end game stuff. The guilds can, for example, also level up. They have a maximum of 100 ranks. When you reach new guild levels the guild gain access to different items etc.
yes .. but only 40 lvls there are 4 teirs and each is ment 2 b 10 lvl slots 40 is the cap but eather its very hard to lvl or theyl raise the cap soon and the better you do on a lower teir you get extra points for the next their and all the theirs lead to the forth teir where you [ along with you alliance ] can try to take the enime capital city you can hold this for a while but every so often the citys and such return to their original owners
they have a mount if you play warhammer the table top game you will know what there mount is before you look at the game but orcs have boars thats their racial mount and empire has horses and when you get their epic its covered in armor chaos get their choas horses dark evels get their lizard ones and so on
do they have any types of transportation in this game like in WoW u get mounts in here what do u get cuase its gonna suck if u just run everywhere and takes hours

Player cap is 40. Its mentioned in another vid that it will take from about 3-4 months for the AVERAGE player to hit 40.
For comparison, an AVERAGE player in World of Warcraft took about a year to hit 60.

The warhammer producers had the idea to make a mmo before blizzard had.. so Actually blizzard stole there idea and not the other way around. And in any fact i cant see how you can say that this is like WoW, not at all.. There is a big diffrence!

The story of orcs,elves,dwarvs ect has been around for centuries nobody copied anyone, they just built off of what was around in folk lore from different cultures. the only difference between the two is the style of play and story line. And yes I play both.

Notice this people Warhammer did come out 1983 and Bliz came out in 1995. Bliz made there big MMO before Warhammer did but... they used ideas of Warhammer and D&D to make there basics. I'm gald they are finally making it big instead staying on the basics or board games.

If im not mistaken im pretty sure there are positional combat skills, meaning you may have to be on the side to use one, behind for one, inf ront for another... kinda like DAOC Mercs and whatnot, being why ppl dont randomly push WASD like in WoW to make it look like they are cool in PvP

This seems to be the best looking video ive seen, i kinda had to dig for a video that made it look better than wow. if they have the annoying looking spells and sound effects like i have seen in other videos then that is kind of a turn off. i do like the graphics of this game and how the arrows actually have a trajectory and not just straight shot like WoW

i play Flyff atm i used to play wow but got so pissed coz i wanted a flying mount i left (i was level 69 XD) but this game looks sic and my friend has tried a beta of it and says it really good so i might switch when comes out :)

...Actually, graphics rock and are much more realistic than wow... the only reason that it looks fuzzy is that he is filming from a computer at the games convention, and the more detail there is, the worse it will look if it is bad quality.

BTW, hell yes this will be better than WoW. I used to love WoW, but now it just sucks. The game isn't balanced, and it's way too gear-dependent. Warhammer will be THE SHIT

there will be 40 ranks, which is the same as levels. The game wont be based that much on levels though, more on RvR combat and other end game stuff. The guilds can, for example, also level up. They have a maximum of 100 ranks. When you reach new guild levels the guild gain access to different items etc.

yes .. but only 40 lvls there are 4 teirs and each is ment 2 b 10 lvl slots 40 is the cap but eather its very hard to lvl or theyl raise the cap soon and the better you do on a lower teir you get extra points for the next their and all the theirs lead to the forth teir where you [ along with you alliance ] can try to take the enime capital city you can hold this for a while but every so often the citys and such return to their original owners

points spill over from lower tiers to higher tiers to decide the world's conflict, which culminates in the sacking of the enemy capitol city.
the enemy capitol city cannot be held indefinitely.

they have a mount if you play warhammer the table top game you will know what there mount is before you look at the game but orcs have boars thats their racial mount and empire has horses and when you get their epic its covered in armor chaos get their choas horses dark evels get their lizard ones and so on
