@peter1234930 Not necessarily. It depends more on the quality of the mp3 uploaded. For instance, a song in 240p on one video might sound better than the same song in 480p on another. And on some videos that are uploaded with bad quality sound, by going up to 480p it will actually make the sound worse.
@seed419 Just because a song is in 240p doesn't mean its low-quality sound. A lot of songs, when switched to a higher resolution, will sound better, but if its uploaded in high quality on 240p, its the same thing. 240p is the resolution, which, like KGBman85 said, refers to picture quality.

240p = 60kbps.
360p & 480p = 128kbps.
720p & 1080p = 152kbps
