WOW!!! this is 2 all da ppl who is talkin bout which is more harder, a bike or kart. I would say a kart is more harder then a bike cause a kart is more bigger and slower 2 use then a bike. as well the bike's acceleration is alot better then of a kart, but the kart has better boosts and is harder 2 knock around, bikes r lighter and easier 2 knock around, but bikes hav the wheelie boosts, but they only hav one spark when driftin 2 get a boost while karts hav 2.

Additionally, yes, you do need to know how to drift for karts to win, but you also need to time your wheelies well for bikes to win. You would be right if Wheelies keep going when they hit a wall/item/etc, because that would be noob, but it's not.

and you're thinking bikes are noob because all you do is press a button and get boosts. It's not that easy. You have to be skilled to avoid items, walls, and other racers or else your speed will be deducted.

Wheelies are not free boosts! People CRASH into you, USE ITEMS against you, there are WALLS everywhere, etc, etc. Didn't you read the ENCLOSED INSTRUCTION BOOK? If you get hit by either one of those, your speed will be deducted.

Bikes that drift internally like the Flame Runner or the Mach Bike have an advantage because they can skip tight turns. And yes, karts take much more skill to use in Time Trials. In races, bikes are fail because they get pushed around.

I actually have more experience in karts than I do with bikes, as a matter of fact. Using a bike was a requirement for the Drift Cup.

What are the outward drifting bikes, and how does it affect how you approach drifting, in general, I mean.

They're exactly as they sound: Inward drifting bikes will go in towards the direction you're turning, even more than before you started drifting. If you're not careful, you'll hit the inside corner of the turn or even fall off. Outward drifters don't turn as much when you begin drifting, so you might crash into the outer walls or fall off if you don't watch out.

Yeah, it differs from bike to bike. You can't really tell from the stats alone, so you have to test each one. The Quacker is an inward drifter, for instance, but the Standard Bike S is an outward drifter.

@Over: I know... And it's all my fault... My internet needs more time before it completes it's stable connection. I have an internet and all, but I only have ONE ethernet cable. Still working on getting ours really soon... T_T

@Greyn: Nope it's all broadband, but the box only has one ethernet port to work. In addition if you connect it to another device that uses the internet, the IP Address still holds the same auto code from the recent device so it doesn't work until I reset everything...

On Mario Raceway I was leading for a while but knowing how close the races on Mario Raceway can be I didn't stay there and things became a tussle at the end with everyone trying to get a position lol

I was very lucky on Desert Hills a mega 'shroom + 2 stars on the last lap means a auto win lol, proving if you get a good item near the end you guaranteed a good finish
