  • Wow, I'm impressed. It's so much more difficult than you think. I'm 50 and I LOVE my gym time. Greetings from Gold Coast Oz. BTW music is pumpin', love it. Stay strong

  • @luvlyf2ful11 thank you!!!!

  • Love ur ARNOLD shirt, but he said he worked out with Jack LaLanne years ago and after 30 minutes of Jack's routine he was whipped and stopped. Jack went on for another hour. Jack had a $10,000 standing offer to anyone who could keep up with him for a full work out & it was never collected. He died recently at 96. Jack was one tough SOB.

  • @Jibbie49 Thanks!

  • You want hard core work outs look up 300 workout

  • watch my vid mate !!!!! and dont try it in the gym !!

  • some cool stuff med ball squats are a great corrective exercise for knock kneed athletes

  • I don't see these exercises really targeting the core. Obviously it does somewhat because almost everything requires core but really this is for your arms lol and it shows :P Therefore I wouldn't say this is an extreme core workout or even a good core workout. There are much simpler exercises that better target your core muscles such as planks, V Sit ups, leglifts etc.

  • @Gliderpilot23 core is more than abs

  • @Gliderpilot23

core is more than just abs. anything that involves balance and twisting and turning engages the core.

  • if one day that big one figth against lee he would realize what does really need to be strong

  • I just workout with a TANK!

  • hhahahah you got worked

  • ehh. rubbish!

  • I like all the balance stuff but your form on that last exercise was terrible. Straighten your arms and pivot on the balls of your feet. See Pavel's Ab book/DVD for proper form. Very cool stuff though, keep posting.

  • hey clown, its crocodile mouth again. did not get your reply to SERGE FITNESS on youtube. in case you wonder if i am a monkey. 90 kg, bench 160kg, deadlift and squat well over 200kg. run 2km under 6 min. 124 pushups in 60sec. 1500m on a rower in 5 min. can you come anywhere close? oh, and i am 40 next year. and NEVER touched steroids

  • oh hell ya!!!!

  • pumping up, pumping iron!

  • nice video from beginning to end cheers

  • there was no video available, i guess this is less extreme than i had hoped

  • Wow, thanks for posting.

  • nice shirt

  • I think Mike's point is there is a lot of talk but no one backing it up, obviously not everyone is gonna make a vid. As for this being extreme, some of it does seem very hard for an average dude like me. I wouldn't take it to personally dude, I'm sure some people are just fuckin with ya.

  • I've seen a few of these before, no doubt they work the core muscles quite well. Looking a bit shaky in the exercises using the fitball and medicine ball tho. Looking forward to seeing some more core training vids from you.

  • tacy debile rodza sie tylko w stanach

  • riveting

  • yeah the riveting. i seen a young guy at the gym last week doing that and his legs were wobblin' around like a sonoafgun. looks very rewarding(Y)

  • man your push ups are weak as bro lol

    really

  • ya, and who the f are you? look on your page and not one vid of you doing any working out. shut it blues dk. stick too your expertise.

  • This guy is hot ;-)

  • you should be careful doing those squats on that medicine ball. i know someone who used to do that and he tore his acl when he lost his balance. overall good workout tho.

  • To the last person that responded. Where those it say that the exercises are wrong. Everyone is different and so what if the your body is all over the place. If you knew something about working out you would figure out that other muscles are being used by being all over the place....I think youre the rookie. Like i said some exercises work and some dont. Were all different and to find out you just have to try them. Thanks for posting this video

  • If you knew anything about working out you would realise that being all over the place often results in injury and not targetting the desired muscle groups. I think you'll also find that were not 'all different,' we all have the same basic anatomy and physiology and respond similarly to basic exercise stimulus. Perhaps you'd also like to define 'core' before you comment on the effectiveness of any exercises shown in this video?

  • strenthcond101,your an idiot.. he's strengthening the core muscles.. particularly those around the spine with these exercises.. whats the bet this guy would be much less prone to injury than alot of cosmetic body builders out there.. do some research faggot.

  • the muscles round the spine eh, perhaps you'd care to name them?

static holds aren't going to strengthen anything, what you'll find is these exercises improve stability not strength- maybe you should do some research

  • That is the worst core workout i have ever seen. His form was all over the place. All these exercises are basic starter exercises, a long way from 'extreme.' Terrible

  • i dont see shit on your page faggot!

  • I stand by my comment that your workout is far from 'extreme.' Yes some of the exercises you have shown are good 'core' exercises however I would avoid the use of the word 'core' in relation to the muscle groups used as it is a term with many definitions in relation to weight training.

  • lol - but in relation to the exercises he WAS doing.. they ARE good core exercises.. especially the stability ball..you sound untrained to me lol.

  • the song is by seether remerdy

  • I like the soundtrack, is it nickleback?

  • yes

  • wtf is a core workout

  • a workout that works the internal muscles that form the foundation of your body. where the true power comes from.

  • youre an inspiration dude

  • Not to be an ass, but that would be a warm up compared to the hell my trainer puts me through. :P

  • well then please do tell us what you do. also, look at my workout video entitled the total performance 300 spartan workout. i doubt you could do it in under 20 minutes, this put the pro athletes on there knees. the athletes are listed in the ending credits.

  • Just saw the vid: now THAT'S very similar to the training I've been doing recently and no, I haven't been able to do it in under 20 minutes YET. But, I'm just beginning I've still managed to beat out some local athletes, including a couple of UT football and baseball players. Not bad for a desk jocky. Keep up the good work.

  • much praise to you!

  • he just said that was a warm up

  • Shit man i was listening to this son right before i clicked on your vid! Seether - Remedy

    great body strength btw man

  • I LOVE balance stuff and the squats on the ball...omg I want to try that. What kind of ball was it, I'm hoping we have one at work.

  • thats called the bosu Ball...

  • Ya...I have a Bosu...I know what that is. I'm talking about the actual BALL. We have ones I can use, doesn't really matter the name anymore.

  • hey hickory ima D-1 football player, Ima do some of this shit when I do core next Wed. Mine is bad so I need all the help I can get. Good work!

  • thanks man! check out the other workout vids!

  • he hides his legs because he is only worried about upper body. I would be much more impressed with a ballet dancer with great legs and a lean upper body. Why neglect the biggest, strongest muscle group? Legs don't turn girls on?

  • hey idiot, i am not here to turn you on with my legs, i am here to show different core exercises. get your head out of your ass.

  • Very Nice, very strong core, nice gym you get there by the way

  • does anyone know what song is this?

    thanks

  • mudvayne: happy

  • sorry, meant to say seether: Remedy

  • song?

  • mudvayne: happy

  • sorry, meant to say it is seether: Remedy

  • this was a pretty sick workout i will take a few notes

  • wow, you are hardcore extreme dude. that is lame, really lame.

  • not hard to do

  • Super funny! Poor core strentgh on your push up dude. Except for the pull ups, my 72 years old client (lady) can do most of it... :)

  • well my 89 year old client (male) SHOWED ME HOW TO DO THESE, SO THERE.

  • wow! that's a crazy workout, I give you lots of respect!

  • get off your high horse pal, wasn't that extreme

  • What a bullshit! Stupid video...

  • Hey where's the doobie?? (you got the shirt)-only one thing left.

  • ha ha ha!

  • amwrong motherfucker!!!

  • Good music, Good workout!

  • Great exercises...

    Thank you for posting them...

  • nice training

  • dude, all those haters suck man. all i know is, your thick as hell. keep up the good work.

and question. do you take anything like creatin or anything similar?

  • creatine and glutamine, thanks

  • what an idiot. That is all really dangerous, no matter how "big" you think you are.

  • Lifting any amount of weight is dangerous, if done improperly. As long as one has proper technique the only injuries that occur are over use injuries.

  • wus

  • damn krazzzy :D

  • Your bout to be my new hero.... i need some stability ball squats on here.. Then it will be official...

  • yes you are really very bell balanced I admire you and jealous of you until I was 32 I didn't know what sports and strenghtening the muscles and posture problems meant, I had a very good posture but spending too much time with PC.then I had kyphosis, lordosis and forwarded neck and shoulders and everything I do seems to make my problems worse.that's why I admire you.thanks for replying.

  • thank you

  • I wonder how you don't have forwarded shoulders with these exercises.they all pull you forward ???

  • umm, the pullups do not pull you forward. this is not my normal workout. it is just some different stuff. i do a lot of romboid/ rear delt stuff. i am very balanced.

  • good workout man I think I'm going to through those all into my work out. I am 225 looking to get down to 210. Looks like those are going to help for sure.

    peace

  • onthing i wouldnt try is the squats on the swiss ball... i want to get injuries fighting now training

  • only thing i wouldn't try is the squats on the swiss ball... i want to get injuries fighting not training

    sorry

  • why would you want to get injured at all? sike just kidding i know what you mean (although i don't see the danger in the squats).

  • The fitness world has redefined "functional" to mean: "Not functional at all"!: Newly invented elaborate balencing maneuvers to become an expert at. (You never know when you might need to pick up groceries while standing on a ball. So the same guy who criticizes: "Bench presses have no real life relevance.", somehow extrapolates that pushups on beachballs HAS that relevance. Wow.

  • I know, dude, I should: "Shut my gay, weak, skinny-ass, flabby, pot-smoking mouth." Hey, did ya see that news item about how it feels good to be aggressive? (No kidding, really?) Let me try it: NO!,YOU SHUT -YOUR- FAT RETARDED, BEER-CHUGGING MOUTH, BEACHBALL-BALENCING GIRLY-MAN CLOWN! Hey,yeah, that -does- feel kinda good. I guess I understand your responses now.

  • I've been saying that for ages, but somehow... it was never as funny as how you put it ;)

  • another idiot with no videos, just a hollow voice from the past. and who the hell preaches bench has no revelance? not me Homoerectus. just sit back in your lazy chair and denounce the world that lay at your feet. let us worship thyself because you are so deserving lazur1.

  • NO VIDEOS = Accused of being a caveman. VIDEOS = Prove you're a caveman. (Thanks for your prompt response. Have a great Valentines day!)

  • i hardly believe that you are a 59 year old woman. what a load of crap.

  • thank you..you're quick with the compliments, you devil.

  • show yourself you coward! don't you ever sleep ya whacko?

  • Weird schedule. What do you what me to show? I don't have a digital camera. Will you pay for my flight? (Continuing excellent response time. You are probably a very considerate trainer.)

  • ha ha, funny stuff. maybe we could be friends. So what are you, a workout freak? no 59 year old woman looks at these videos, let alone comments on them. lets talk about you now.

  • 59/male. No deception intended: Somehow I typed some of my wife's Id into mine. . Semi-retired/ lots of free time. You're obviously not the typical ball-balancer. Surely you realize that most of those guys are giving that style bad name, yes?

  • yes, i agree with that!

  • That was oe confusino with my wife an I both signing up

  • Looks like I got my work cut out for me.

    1) The pull ups on the beam aren't core work, but I can guess this might be a warm up.

    2) standing on top of a ball is hardly effective as an exercise. Remember the 7 laws of adaptation: if a stimulus does not bring an organism to its working threshold, adaptive changes will not occur.

    3) Ditto on the ball push ups

  • 4) The twisting lift and right with the barbell does not, and cannot provide enough resistance to bring any of the core muscles to overload, which is necessary for adaptation. This exercise is best suited for training the stretch-shortening cycle of muscle contractions along with starting strength - but to do that, you would need to make the transition from lowering to raising as quick and powerful as possible - whereas you're using a pause at the bottom, negating this effect.

  • 5) Arnold has no education in kinesiology, biomechanics, or fitness science. He has a degree in business economics, thats it.

    6) Finally, the best "core" work of all are squats, deadlifts, and overhead presses. Making up fancy moves is fine if you're trying to promote your business, but as Hatfield PhD has said, "line up the insertions with the origins and lift the damn bar. Dont get cute!"

  • Okay, point 5 what?

    5. Arnold was UNDEFEATED in pro bodybuilding. His stuff might be a bit out of date now but in his prime he'd beat every wannabe bodybuilder. Forget the degrees and knowledge, his records speak for themselves. You don't become champ at bodybuilding without hard work and working knowledge of the body.

  • Yes you do. Its called genetics and steroids. A combination of these would mean you dont have to know a bicept from a quadracept, and you could still get huge. And before you start with "it takes guts, sacrifice, etc etc" - I could say the exact same thing about Craig Valenteeno, who's considered a clown, although all the same heroic attributes assigned to other professional bodybuilders would equally apply to him. Anyone with genetics can pop needles and get big regardless of what they do.

  • ROFL, and your proof that Arnold had the perfect combination of those two are...?

  • Just look at him. His workout recommendations violate nearly ever law of adaptation, yet he was as big as a professional bodybuilder typically is - and typically this is done through steroids and genetics.

  • I suspect you've never gone through his workout books, then. But if you actually do have that proof, it'll be longer than a Youtube response, so go ahead and PM me your refutation of Arnold's workout.

  • Oh I can do that here. Its quite simple. I've read Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding front to back.

    1) You cannot shape a muscle to any significant degree. This is scientifically indisputable.

    2) You cannot work "parts" of the same muscle (inner/outer chest, upper/lower abs). Again, indisputable.

    3) You cannot recover from 20 sets in 48 hours unless you're on steroids.

    4) Arnolds recommendations do not observe the law of individual differences, or GAS.

  • little too much time on your hands eh Potsy? how novel of you. put up a video of your preachings or shut it.

  • Ironic how I list each and every point in a 1 2 3 fashion to make it easier for anyone to refute my points, and yet that gets met with &quo
