@Appleaddict22 The reason there is white balance at all is that most light ain't white :) some light is more blue other light more of a yellow color.
your eyes automatically adapt to the new lighting you step into so that the yellow or blue looks white but your camera doesn't and you have to do it yourself or just let the camera try to do it on auto-mode
@ferlonjrTV just manually focus. much more smooth and no noise. here's a video i shot with the t1i, same lens and manual focusing. check out my profile to see tome t1i videos shot with manual focusing.
video looks good but how do you do white balance on T1i? when you say manual you mean turning switch to manual? also was this the lens that came with T1i?
i sold my t1i so i forgot how to white balance it, but when switching to manual you just switch to manual on the lens and the lens was not the one that came with the camera, it's the 50mm f1.8 lens from canon, which is cheap and gives good depth of field. thanks for watching!
This is going to sound like a really stupid question... but lol I don't even get how to use the high def video? I went to video mode on the dial and pressed the shutter button, which seemed obvious enough, and it took a picture! then I tried pressing live mode instead but again.... can you explain in a reply? LLLLLLLLLOL
damn man cut out the text stuff at the front a lot of people need to see this footage this is exactly what i wanted to see. now im gonna buy this camera
i was goin to buy the 5d body thinking it will allow me to use the video but that guy that was selling me this said it wont work i need to by meny extras! he said Canon EOS Rebel T1 is the same hd video used on a 5d ! whats your opion sence you own 1? plus your videos looks great i hope i made the right disition?
It's in the Project Panel at the bottom, you click on the icon that says "new item" and you'll see the "Universal Counting Leader" and there you go. I think this is what you are speaking of, right?
Yes, that is my camera setup and thanks a lot!!! it works very nice. The rebel with the kit lens cost $900 and with just the body it is $800. I got it from Ritz Camera and the accessories from B&H and some from Adorama.
so all you are using is the 50mm 1.8 mark2? no adapter?
tvdang7 1 year ago
@tvdang7 Yes. It's an EF lens, and the 500D has an EF-S lens mount, compatible with all EF lenses. No adapter required.

Next time, instead of begging everyone to stay and view the actual movie, you could show us the movie first, and then give us the proper explanation

What export settings do you use? and what software to compress them?
livemixtapes 2 years ago
I used the Adobe Media Encoder to compress the video. The settings I used were probably HDTV 1080i, not sure, I might have exported it wrong.

How'd you edit this together? I just got mine and can't find a program to use that works.

was that at 20fps? or 30?
sytran666 2 years ago
Sytran, shooting in 1080p is 20fps | shooting in 720p is 30fps. This was shot in 720p.
