  • this was Ms. Rebbie second biggest HIT on the chart after 1984's Centipede.. this song hit # 8 on the R&B chart.

  • This was the song!!! She tore it up!!!!

  • Wow...so funky!!!

  • Aww I luv this video so muc, jus a quality experience!!

  • The only Jackson who didn't make any scandals

  • Rebbie is great.

  • Rebbie Jackson is so talented and from the few interviews I have seen of her, she seems to be so sweet as well as beautiful. This family is blessed with so much musical talent in the fore front it's amazing.

  • Wow! I want to be a Jackson!

All of this family have talent.

I bet that Katherine will be singing very well.

Michael sings well, sings well Jermaine , LaToya sings well, Janet sings well, sings well Rebbie

I want to be one of them also to see if I can sing well

  • was that a Ernest P. Worrell reference at 2:22 when she said "you know what i mean?" with that southern country accent?...lol..that was unique, that's IF that's what she said?

  • Wow look at my spiritual sister go!!!

  • lame

  • She has the best voice amongst the females in the Jackson family. Marriage and motherhood took her away from the scene..awesome to hear her sing again. I pray she keeps on singing,I love her voice!

  • I love you, Miss Rebbie! You're my favorite Jackson sister.

  • @dazzle21girl Rebbie is my favorite female in the Jackson family as well. Did you see her on The View today?

  • @Dashland13 No I missed it :( I didn't know she was on going to talk on The View! What did she say?

  • @dazzle21girl And yes I think her voice is the best out of all females. I hope she does something new

  • My sister got me hooked on this song

LOL, this is one of her favorite rebbie song's

  • I am a fan of all the Jacksons, but this song is excellent!

  • WOW...Never knew there was a video to this song. I loved this...played it over and over when it came out in around 1988. Great post!!

  • This song shows that Rebbie had everything it took to establish an audience and become a huge singer. The "New Jack Swing" style that was taking place in Black music of the late 80's and early 90's was the *IN* thing to do, and Rebbie was showing that with this song. Unfortunately, Janet was already on the scene at this time and making a bigger presence with "Control". Columbia didn't market Rebbie correctly at all.

  • I loveeee Rebbie's songs!!!!!!! :))

  • This song should've been as big as Centipede!! I remember her perfomance on Soul Train, thinking this would top the charts. But CBS records didn't promote her properly. They never gave her the attention she deserved ad an artist. Also Reaction from her second album of the same title was another strong effort that was overlooked. Rebbie has a strong voice, she, Michael, Janet, and Jermaine have the better singing voices in that family.

  • i love rebbie

  • should be bigger

  • Rebbie moves with such ease. It comes so naturally for her. She moves the way everyone else breathes. Yet she has her own rhythm, her own style. I love her. Those Jacksons are so amazing.

  • i wanna have buttsex with rebbie

  • mmmm ok...lol

  • shes hot

  • Plaything came from her 'R U Tuff Enuff' album, which remains one of my all-time favorite albums. This song was written and produced by the guys from Surface.

  • i love diz beat it's so funky

  • rebbie your butt is mine

  • 3:55 has always been my fave part but the whole ending of the song go...well shit, the whole song dope tho!!!! Go Rebbie!!!!

  • im 20 and im a mj fan i never really payed close attention to rebe.i never knew she singed too i guest i gave all my attention to michael and janet!!!!

  • I haven't heard to much of Rebbie but the lil I've heard is kew. I grew up on this song and "Centipede".

  • I this this! it remind me of rihanna. lol. I don't know y. Rebbie did that little guitar thig that micheal alway did!

  • This straight up has a Roger & Zapp, Atlantic Starr funk-feel to it...ni-iiice...One Love!

  • dangg, i dig this! what year is this from??

  • 1988.

  • Wow! I've waited so long to see this video.

    The song,the video,the voice,the woman - all amazing ! 10/10.Thankyou.

  • how phenomenol is this family!!!

  • rebbie is a goddess and im only 19

  • yeah and i'm only 2 years ols

  • UR 2?!?

  • duh!!!!!!!!!!

  • your not 2 years old >.>

... i refuse to believe that...

  • The Jacksons were put on this planet to ENTERTAIN!!! I swear!

  • Jeez, I remember this song being played in clubs back in tha day, but I never knew it was Rebbie. Wow.

  • Janet jackson is still my favourite artist, shes amazing

  • Whenever I think of Rebbie Jackson, I think of the color red cuz in a lot of her videos she's always wearing the color red. She's a very beautiful woman too.

  • "I'm not your plaything, I'm not your toy, treat me with some respect you're not a little boy". LOL That line always killed me. Thank you Michael for another one of your influences, your other talented sister, Rebbie. RIP, Michael.

  • this sounds like "be your man" by jesse johnson

  • auggie, how does it feel seeing your mom doing her thing in her day i guess like watching your uncles. I am so sorry for your family's huge lost. Michael was awesome as i know you know. GOD WILL GET Y'ALL THROUGH.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG

  • She is AWSOME!!!

  • This was always one of my faves of Rebbie's!

  • I don't know how this1988 R&B dance track did on the charts, but this is as funky a dance track as her signature track "Centipede", the beat is slammin', along with that hard bassline, and her vocals fit the track like a glove, fantastic late 80's R&B, no question about that!!

  • this was her highest song ever, no. 8 on the hot 100 charts

  • I WANT THIS SONG SOOO BAD!!!!!!!

  • Did you ever find it? I have it if ur still wanting it

  • Can I get it also?

  • This sounds like a mix of Jody Watleys "Lookin for a new love" and Janets "What have you done for me lately" but bottom line is

I WANT THIS SONGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME GET IT, SOMEONE PLEASEEEE

  • Throw in the Jets and all three made this song.....I love it too.

  • This has that sassy feel of Janet's What Have You Done for Me Lately. I love them both!!! I love the JACKSONS!!!!

  • It is a shame Urban AC radio format stations have not kept this song in recurrent airplay along with her other hits. They are all excellently performed songs!

  • I hear centipede every now and again.

  • I remember this! It kinda reminds me of Jesse Johnson's "Be Your Man" from 1984--the way the hook goes...I don't wanna be your play thing...no, no, no...his was, "I...wanna be yo' man baby...oh, oh, oh."

  • Old gurl looks AMAZING IN THIS VID SON!! for her age she looks youthful and has a rockin bod , must run in the fam (excluding latoya) , great vid from a great sistah , 5/5 from me!

  • @forevashenenene -aww I think ALL the jackson sistas are gorgeous ~

  • This is very good !

    :D

    Jacksons family is amazing !

  • I miss this song....it was one of her best and funky you know she can dance!!!

  • Love the song and Rebbie is beautiful in this video...

  • i wouldn't mind being her plaything....this was her last R%B top 40 hit but she went out with a bang making #8 in March 1988.. still like centipede better....

  • I'm diggin' it...

  • janet looks more like Rebbie.

  • Work Rebbie!!!!!

  • Rebbie Jackson, she is such a talent. I wish that she could have received more exposure for her entertainment career. Sad how some just get left behine. Jermaine Jackson is another one, I think that he has the best voice out of all of the Jackson. Janet is my favorite. Michael is the bomb.

  • Rebbies voice has the most range and power, way more than Jermaines, he can sing but Rebbie and Michael have more range and personality in their singing voices

  • @jarrylfo I couldn't agree more. Rebbie and Michael had the best voices in the family.

  • @utterbullspit Ya thats the sad thing about Rebbie, so many posssibilites. I think she should've been on Michael and Janets level, but just as a singer, she had the voice but family and religion came first for her. Ya MJ, Janet, and Rebbie are 3 of my favorite voices on the planet. Janet's voice is underrated, I dont think most people who arent familiar with her wok know what her voice is capable of. It's not as strong as Rebbie, but it's stronger than most people know.

  • yea,i agree with u... i think tht Jackie,Jermaine,Michael and Rebbie were the[most]musically gifted out of all of them...but Rebbie ddnt wanna stay n the game 4 2 long...otherwise she wud have been BIG...
