I love the Harp at the start of "Malcums Journey" - such a subtle way to to begin then it just builds and build as the Journey so it would seem progreses!
If not for Titanic, this movie would have been THE big movie of 1997. Great score! Not just a repeat of the Jurassic Park score, but with distinct features of its own.
1. When the two Rex's arrives to eat Eddie, when he's busy pulling that long truck.
2. When the two Rex's hits the base camp at night time, you see a shot where Roland is opening the tranquilizer box with drums playing in the background.
They're unreleased, however some people on the John Williams Fan Site may be able to hook you up with a synthisized rendition. Part of "Eddie Saves" cue is on the album "Rescuing Sarah" it's called, but they cut out the part where Eddie pulls the trailer up. The whole cue is called "Truck Stop".
As for the latter cue, it's really long and called "Rialto Ripples". It starts when Malcolm, Roland, and Ajay are talking about where to go, in the dark; ends after the cave scene.
@asiandawn69 i haven't seen Jurassic park The lost world it was a really long time ago but i think i remember Eddie the to Rex's eats his head but that's not a important Answer so sorry can't help
I love that The Lost World is not a rehash scores that just retreads the previous work. The two main motifs from Jurassic Park return just as the main exit anthems. Occasionally they are special nods to heightened references to the InGen disaster IE only when Jurassic Park itself is mentioned, which makes those moments even more precious. Ludlow talking about the San Diego complex Hammond abandoned and Van Owen seeing the logo hidden in brush at the coms station in the village comes to mind.
And if they'd kept the track that William's wrote for the philosophy walk scene, the 'island' motif (from when they arrive to Isla Nublar in the first film) plays when Malcolm mentions Hammond to Ludlow. The original track is on the score as "The Trek", and was replaced with an edit of "Malcolm's Journey".

There are two pieces I just can't find.
1. When the two Rex's arrives to eat Eddie, when he's busy pulling that long truck.
2. When the two Rex's hits the base camp at night time, you see a shot where Roland is opening the tranquilizer box with drums playing in the background.
Any ideas how to get those tracks?:P
