I just wanted to give you all an update. The phone number that is displayed in the movie for Emerge Fly Fishing Specialties has changed. If you have any questions, the new number is 949-315-1449. Thanks, Chad Schiel
@youngoutdoorsman2001: I know... Everyone know that. But good catch. The head of the fly is tied using synthetic materials. The other alternative for tying bulkiness in fly patterns is spinning deer hair. Deer hair is a hollow hair and floats, therefore it needs wieght to sink. Rabbit Strip is a natural material, but one that doesn't float, therefore it doesn't need any extra weight to make it sink. Because the head is made with synthetics it sinks quickly without weight.
@rpk0725: Most fly fishing bass bugs do cost 7 to 8 dollars now. Its because of how time consumming they are to tie. The good news is that they don't cost much to tie. I am working a DVD tying movie right now showing how to tie this fly and many others. I will let everyone know when it is available. You might want to give it a look.
