I have been watching this video over and over again... Trying to figure out how My Gilbert could be a "bad guy"! I'm just not seeing it! I love him at this age. So handsome...
Stupid. Utterly brainless writing. Alfred Hitchcock was a Master of storytelling and suspense...this had neither. He would have never suffered such mediocrity.
@GinaToySculptor Haha Yes?? what u said is so stupid.. for example what about "The Invasion of the Bodysnatchers 1978" remake of the original film?? check in wikipedia: Reviews for Invasion of the Body Snatchers have been nearly unanimously positive. It maintains a 95% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is regarded as one of the best films of 1978 as well as one the greatest remakes of all time.. SEE GIRLY??? NOT ALL THE REMAKES SUCK!!! This episode rocks!!!!
@PierceBrosnanXXX - First off, who says "girly" in the 21st century ? Secondly, you have a personality disorder and can't read. I said "usually" not all. And lastly, you bore me - go away.
The best thing I like about this series is that I try to guess the plot with as many possibilities as I can think, and Alfred still comes up with the most unusual twist right at the end that just baffles me.
Thats what I call "Creativity", talk about unpredictable.
Why does it look like everyone is dragging their bodies while walking rather than walking straight. Either being ordered to walk, or the movie gets more twisted and there is a zombie virus in the air.
I think when he said he got fed up of waiting for her, he might have meant they were waiting to get 'noticed' by her. Instead they had to watch while she shagged other guys instead.
thanx for this...i love hitchcock...i have the whole season 1 in black or white from the 50's. i remembr one colour episode from the 80's where a woman being bullied in jail desperately asks the funeral director in the prison to help her escape in the coffin of the most recently deceased inmate...can u remember the name of this episode anybody?
@SotaLappar yeah haha i always thought "the vanishing" ending should of been the same.have you seen it thats a creepy movie (the old version is better)
@robswift008 jeez I've seen the sandra bullock version and that made me sick and paranoid for days.....seen it twice too. But after that couldn't see it a 3rd time.....I think I'm too scared to know about the old version.lol.
yeah i know roal dahl the famous childrens autor wrote one.......i think it was where the guy is betting on a lighter lighting 10 times if he loses he gets his finger chopped off.

@GinaToySculptor - there's more intelligent writing in your two-line comment than there is in the entire episode

What do you mean original?...this looks pretty old so I'm guessing it is the original?
I just ran into Alfred Hitchcock Presents, so I don't know much about the show...
obeytorres 2 years ago
Your kidding aren't you This was the 80's remake series The original series ran from 1955 to 1963 (363 Episodes)
ninelivecat 2 years ago
Wow, 363 episodes, I wonder how many ways Alfred had to squeeze his brain to get all those ideas
sadgreen 2 years ago
I don't think he wrote all of them They had other people coming up with ideas like they do on modern shows like Lost etc.
