  • Well put. You have a very insightful and intellegent point about the majority of those protesters. Thankfully there are people like you who are willing to state the obvious in spite of the sensationalist mainstream media. It is a business getting people riled up about someting in the news. They don't accumulate viewers by noting that something is ok or working. They get the masses by pandering to the lowest common denominator of emotional playground make funnery of someone.

  • Where are the Western feminists? Did you know that the female-hating Taliban is forcing some produce vendors to segregate the male and female vegetables in separate produce bins? That is how repressed many Muslim men are! The Taliban will not even allow women to visit a male (or female) doctor, because somehow the female form should be covered at all times. So men force women to wear that stupid burqa and are beaten if they fail to do so. Muslim men are insane, and feminists are MIA. Phonies!

  • and one more:

The world would fall apart????? Ever thought about that the Europeans founded America! The Europeans! Yes sir! Show some respect!

  • They founded it and then were soundly beaten in a revolution of what were settlers that didn't care for the shit the europeans were giving them. Respect that asshole.

  • You're right. Bored idiotic students who think it'll be cool to relive the 60's. Won't they be ashamed when they grow up.

  • i would vote, however i am not of the voting age, therefore i am not allowed to. i still am allowed to "bitch" about the bush administration because free speech is supposed to be a right that we have as americans.

  • If you aren't old enough to vote, you technically have no right to those rights yet. You need to be an adult to express yourself under law. Right now it is up to your mommy and daddy to do it for you. You can have an opinion, but everybody has those. Come back when you're "legal".

  • See you came out strong on the first video and made your point and i liked you for that but on this video you are just sucking up . you know that your problem is not with the chant its with the principle . you got balls man keep it that way .

  • OMG you are my hero, you are of the upper intelligence class, people just jump on the bandwagon, you have got it down, you match my ideals perfectly, dont listen to these haters, you are right they are wrong

  • you are a baller! smart man everyone should listen to him

  • I'm from Santa Cruz, Ca and let me tell you...

    Your 100% correct...

The "neo-libs" (you know who they are, if you don't you may be one)...they are hate mongers who preach one thing out each corner of their mouths. Peace, Love, and Understanding for everyone IF: you agree with them, if not then they get all bunched up and FILLED with red blooded hatred for you, personally.

  • Michael Moore is an idiot.

  • Did you vote for George W. Bush?

  • Yes. Did you even vote? I seem to think not. Will you vote in the next election? I doubt that too. Most people who bitch about current politics never even voted in the election that affects their bitching. If all of the bitchers voted, then George Bush wouldn't even be the president they love to hate. Think about it.

  • Yeah, when we have free time let's not use it to protest injustice - let's join a frat or watch more TV...

  • Respect man, the "peaceful people" are just doing what they think makes them look good. "Oh look at me I'm protesting war aren't I cool". Fuck em dude, the south park anecdote was perfect. Just remeber that when people attack your person it's just because they disagree but have nothing intelligent to say.

    keep on keeping on

  • I totally hear you man. But I do believe Bush is pretty bad. He has made a lot of stupid decisions. But I don't feel that taking bush out of office would stop our helping against AIDs.

  • There is so much going on behind the scene that most people will never hear about or believe it if they hear about it. I mentioned my cousin had been in Africa with the Air Force on a humanitarian mission and had peole caling me a liar saying we didn't have anyone in Africa. Tell my cousin and his family that. We are expected to help with everyone else's problems, but only catch shit when something we do is unpopular.

  • Hey man I agreed with you on everything besides my view on Bush. I didn't say that you were a liar about your cousin. I'm sure what he is doing is right.

  • yeah but maybe they are trying to make people remember the past

  • Oh man, those Stanford tards need to get a life.

  • completely agree with this man's characterization of the protesting atmosphere. it's like political rallies these days...processed and pre-determined...they hand you the signs you have to wave right at the door. one thing i disagree with - Brett Favre and the Packers dominate over the Bears and their alien spaceship stadium. peace.

  • and you said that congress DID vote to go into the war.... wrong! even the secretary of defense and other high end politicians begged bush not to. he went there to create a self image for himself so people can remember his awesome (yeah, right) presidency. good book to read is "state of denial", tells alot of good info

  • On October 11, 2002 at 12:50 AM members of the 107th Congress, 2nd Session voted 77 to 23 on; "A joint resolution to authorize the use of United States Armed Forces against Iraq." You can Google "congress votes to go to war in Iraq" to see the record. Now quit being a total jerk and do a little reading.

  • Finally a man who has his own mind, it's very nice to know there's "others" out there. All these liberals are just jumping in the bandwagon, were in Iraq for a good reason we liberated a bunch of people who where in need of lots of help. And the exact number of people who died in Iraq that are american is less than the people who died in the twin towers so I think were very successful.

  • first off, congress didnt support the war! the people of america didnt support the war! the poles speak for themselves. you call 3,000 dead and counting successful? you're sick in the head.

  • Your "beliefs" don't change facts. Congress and Senate both voted to go to war. This is an undenialable truth and there is a record of the fact. Your hatred can't change this.

  • besmerching?!! lol.

  • I think you have alot of good points, as well as a goog working head on your shoulders, but on to the responce. I think you're pre-judging alot of people. I personally don't care who says what bad or good thing about Bush. I hate Bush because of his disregard for human life. How many thousands of Americans and Iraqis need to be murdered before he quits being so stubborn? If Saddam was killing his people as quickly as we are, he would have been the only one left by the time we invaded.

  • Many more Iraqis were being killed by Saddam. Maybe this is news to you. This war you blame solely on Bush was voted upon by Senate and Congress and not by one man. The now Democrat led Senate and Congress have voted 3 times to end the war and it was voted down all 3 times. SO where does the blame truly lie? You have been duped into hating one man while the truth is, a Democrat controlled congress is to blame.

  • you are brainwashed man. break away from the mainstream. bush knew about 9/11 before it happened. go and youtube "bush caught off gaurd"....thats are president in his prime. support bush, support satin himself.

    *LEGALIZE*

  • I'm brainwashed!?!? Do you seriously believe the bullshit about flashes before the planes hit the WTC? Do you believe there were missiles fired at the towers at the exact second the planes struck? Now learn to spell. It's satan not satin. Satin is a material that shines and is slippery. It's guard not gaurd. And Bush is our president not are president. Has the pot scrubbed away too many brain cells?

  • There sure are a lot of haters commenting lately. Most are making assumptions and then piling the hate on real thick based on the assumptions. Funny how they "think" they know so damn much about a person based on one video that they are able to pass judgement so easily. You so called peace lovers need to keep all of that hate to yourselves. I'm going to delete it anyway. I should let it stay so people can see what a bunch of hypocrits you all are. Peace?! They even know what that means.

  • You really have a good point, once we weed through your aimless rambling ... people are sheep. We love being preached to by the news media, and being preached to by some older dude pretending to be a veteran ... just doesn't stand up to those sexy people in the conventional news media. ps the Bears stink!

  • Well the Packers don't stink, and the Bears are going down next season. Remember they got beat in the last game of last season. Yeah, Da Bears are goin down ;-)

  • As pleza1 speaks some sense Hillary Clintons ass keeps getting bigger...

  • i agree with you, people are too lazy today to make up new chants. wheres the art? wheres the creativity? its all packaged in a mcdonalds happy meal. too many people are narrow minded, im not saying you are, you seem like a smart guy. but honestly, most of these people arent bored and want something to do. its easier to turn on their tv's than to make signs and support an idea you agree with. as an american i have the right to speak and protest. democracy...if it still exists.

  • Here's a new song for Hillary supporters: one two three four we don't want your fucking whore!

  • hilary clinton is going to win and shes not a whore her husbands a man whore but i like being democrat and i prefer clintons over bushes any day

  • There are actually real PROBLEMS in the United States incase you didn't notice. Its not just like I run outside when I'm when bored and go protest... I protest when there is a problem.

    And fur IS murder.

  • I agree fur is murder. I prefer bald myslef.

  • Pleza 1 is right on the money. Every word he says. Period.

  • They can't come up with a new chant. They're posers trying to be cool at a protest. They derive their political philosophy from Rage Against the Machine songs and pretend that they give a shit about the suffering of Iraqis. The more illogical reasons and lies these kids come up with to hate Bush, the more I support him.

  • interesting thoughts.

  • Improve your analogies.

  • We shouldn't be listening to the press about what is happening in the world! No, no! We should listen to you, you worldy fellow. I am sure that you gain some incredible insight on "conditions on the ground" whilst sitting behind your glowing screen in a place half-way around the globe from this despicable War.

Go Colts! (I see that Bears flag)

  • Was all of this supposed to be sarcasm? I AM RETIRED NOW. But before I retired I did write a new anthem, a new pledge, and served over 8 years in the Army ('72-81). So I may NOW be 1/2 a world away, but when I was of age, I did serve. So mendoza - are you talking shit from your computer chair or have you done your part? If your part is hater comments - STFU.

  • your right people nowa days are hipacrites. Poepl who protest I belvie should be sent to another country and try that there and see what hapens maybe then they will appretiate the freedomes and things we have here.

  • You say "come up with your own chant if you are really passionate about something."

I completely agree! The National Anthem is completely outdated. I mean really, if you are truly patriotic then come up with your own damn song! If you really want to inspire some personal passion, then how's about rewriting the Pledge of Allegiance?

  • To hell with them all, bush is our president, they should show him a little respect

  • Looks like I'm one of the few people who agrees with you and realizes that too many people just repeat what the news and their friends say.

  • yeh your right...fuck everyone who doesnt like you, go bush

  • But the world never needed the media's tide-changing opinions to be ASTONISHED on how the hell the most powerfull country chose THAT person and administration to be their rulers... TWICE. At this stage of civilization we dont need mobs who support or rise against leaders just because of what animal their badge is. We need self-conscious individual citizens who think for themselves and question authority and rulers. Otherwise donkeys and elephants might as well all use a big grey sheep badge.

  • You seem like an intelligent person, but plenty of what you said is pre-formatted too. You pretty much accuse protesters of being thoughtless liberal kids influenced by the media, but now you're starting to project a typical image of an old conservative war veteran with the patriotic flag on his back and delusional bellic views of the world. Your intelligent but contented inertia pitted against their clumsy but active expression.

  • amen brother. I agree with everything you said.

These people have to wake up.

  • I'm not talking about you

  • i think all this protesting is getting silly now.

  • so you're saying that everyone who protests is bored, you can't protest without being bored?

Maybe reading a book might help you...

  • Reading a book might help me do what? Did I say that "everyone" who protests is bored? Sorry I got under your skin, but maybe you shouldn't read into things quite so much.

  • Yeah protestor's are so "Brave". Real brave to march in a mass of people and chant the same idiot chants and believe the same idiot talking points. Like "blood for oil" now. Where's this oil we're supposed to be getting? Seems to me the oil prices just keep rising. Protesting doesn't prove anyone smart or brave, anyone can yell in a crowd.

  • how might I go about contacting a soldier in Iraq? You suggested it, pleza1 and I think it is a good idea but how can it be done?

  • I have never heard so much nonsense in such a short period of time.

  • I am 18 years old and I totally agree with you. Kids these days are too easily influenced by media. Don't listen to all the naysayers, your a good person.

  • i dissagree with you entirely you are making it sound like its a bad thing to use old things for new things and you are wrong. what about seatbelts should we use something new, the fact that you rememebr something after 10, 15, 20, 40 years is because it touched you in some way and thats all i have to say

  • My mind is healthy and I doubt I know a single person who forgot their own past lest they were touched with some mental illness that robbed them of their memories. If that is difficult to understand or believe, then perhaps you are the one who should be worried. By the way, there were no seatbelts in cars when I was young. That's more of a technological improvement than a memory.

  • Pleza, you make a perfectly logical point. The self-styled "intellectuals" should know better than to think that a country can be run on emotions. They only hate Bush because they believed the unending barrage of slanderous propoganda. It's popular to hate him, regardless of whether it's right to do so.

  • You people don't get it. Its not the chant. Its the message. Sorry but people are lazy and rather repeat what they heard in the past. This guy is just reciting what he's heard. Bushshit!

  • against bush but i agree protestors need to clean up so they will be taken seriously. wear suits or look neat. dressing like fire hydrants and swearing and singing stupid chants is giving us a bad image. authorities dont take it seriously. i protest in a clean suit and clean up and at least look mature about it. be yourself but set an image.

  • so...you know most of the soldiers in iraq, and bush is running for president again? yeah sounds good

  • WTF?!?! What are you talking about?

  • new chant is deffenatly needed!

  • Mate, im from england and I know that some songs are timeless for a reason, they talk about real human feelings, love is a universal and can be sung over and over again, because it happens all the time, capturing a moment of love and singing that song 200 years from now WILL MEAN THE SAME THING cos its about love, some assets of it will change, but centrally it is the same theme and meaning.

  • The video is not about timeless songs. That's comparing apples to zebras. I have never seen a commercial late night on TV with all of my favorite timeless protest chants. When that happens, then I would concede that music and chants are basically the same.

  • Well put!

  • I like this guy. I have been to three of the biggest protests in DC to see what was going on and to counter protest. Never have I seen more vile, disgusting behavior by American youth in my life. A small part of me believes some regions here SHOULD be taken over by a communist/fascist regime to show and contrast just how good we have it. Awakening this 60's protest vibe may seem cool in movies, but in reality it was an ugly, divisive time and ultimately a victory for Soviet interests.

  • You are not an idiot or old. Its all about rich people oppressing poor people and the poor fighting back. Then the media and government try and make us feel scared then we have to start hating and promoting death! I dont buy it. I know Bush lied. I know innocent people died and are dying. Many countries are never in a war-why? They dont have an industrial military complex that bribes the government to keep us scared.

  • He brings up an extremely good point.

I still think war is horrible and wrong though...

  • I didn't like the whole thing he was saying, especially demagogy at the end about stopping to help Africa because Bush is a bad, mean president; about the poor other world that would suffer if the US became an isolated country. America and its whole business would be fucked more, its money, debts investments made in and from the US is also dependent from other countries. Pretty much of shit and sophism, nevertheless he's able to make arguments and convince. OK, partially.

  • I also pointed out a disingenuity in your claim to be simply addressing the form of the protests when in fact you are criticising their content.

  • For some reason my last comment keeps getting deleted. Since I have not insulted your person but have merely concerned myself with your argument, I can only assume it has been a repeated mistake or some technical problem. Just to repeat, I noted as unfounded and illogical your claim that, by criticing US foreign policy, "everyone seems to be aiming at" ending all aid to all countries.

  • he's got a lot of good points. try listening people.

  • It's good to see someone speaking in a thoughtful way. However, you make rather absurd sweeping generalisations when you speak of what 'everyone' seems to be doing right now, that the reason anyone in the news media is critical of Bush is that they want to be in the White House (I presume you mean they support people who want to be) and everyone who is similarly critical is just ignorantly repeating what they heard out of 'boredom'.

  • And about Africa, there is not much of a US presence there. It is amazing all of the warfare that goes on and the US in stick in Iraq. If the true reason was to overthrow Hussein, why aren't the soldiers in Africa? We should have been in Zimbabwe or Sudan long before Iraq. And whether you believe the troops are doing a good job in Iraq or not is beside the point. The war is not just. I hate the war and I hate Bush, but I support the troops and I support this country.

  • You are 14. You haven't even begun to experience life yet so you must be relying on the media for your opinions. That makes my point for me. You are stepping right in line with what "they" want you to know and are then spewing out the other end. Until you've lived a couple more decades and are able to speak from life experiences, stick to sports, music, and voting for Sanjaya on Tuesday nights. Otherwise you are just repeating things like a parrot. Peace.

  • Why are the telling us he is the worst president in the world? Because he is. I'm 14 and can fromulate my own opinion about him. He has let down our country over and over again. This war has killed many soldiers and caused the nation a great debt, which young people my age are going to have to pay back. and for what?

  • for you and your future you idoit- you nees 200 more 9/11's? you still need to grow up and please stop listening to people that are brain washing you- like another said- live a couple of decades ya punk and GO DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

  • come back when you know how to spell "idiot" and people might listen to you

  • I believe this is a response to sadie96. It would be helpful if people remembered to say who they are commenting on so it doesn't seem so random.

  • comment noted.

  • sorry i type fast and at times dont really care-its just so stupid to see those protestors out there brainwashed by the media and their teachers, many of them from wealthy and prestigious families- you really think these rich kids get the entire scope of this picture- there is so much to this war- its not just 9/11 and iraq- maybe we need to get the region to stop creating little boys and girls to hate us? to become radicals?

  • that might be true, but the thing is that these radicals in the mid-east HATE america, they think it is evil and violent. everytime an innocent civilian dies over there and an american is to blame, it will be used by these radicals to prove their point. it doesn't make sense to me that a reaction of violence should prove these haters wrong.

  • It doesn't make sense to me to expect that a reaction of capitulation is a reasonable alternative. They only understand violence, so lets speak to them in that language.

  • Right. Just like we all go to discotechs on the weekends to dance to the "classics". Why change music styles?

  • we aren't in africa. there is no US military presence in africa.

  • thats good stuff right there.. but the sad thing is, the people who are against you are the thickheaded ones who wont listen to what youre really saying since theyre completely set in their media fed ways. its funny about the punk scene thats all ANTI BUSH and ANTI MEDIA. hmm, think about that. its kinda hard to be both since for 95% of you, the reason you hate bush is because you fell asleep with CNN on your tv.

  • he's right. if you're gonna flip, flip out over his principles. and the whole media influence is true. yes, alot of people may disapprove of the Bush administration, but when it comes down to it, it's truly a bandwagon repeating everyone else and agreeing b/c their friend said it, or their band said it, or their favorite actor said it... blah blah. think for yourself, that's what he's saying...

  • Why quote Jannet Reno?

  • I don't know - why?

  • pleza1, I think you have a lot of bravery for posting and saying things like what you've said on your videos and I applaude you. Everyone from the Stanford video is just locked in on the "mob mentality". I personally am fed up with the news media. Everyone who reads this, watch your local news station tonight and pay attention to how many reports deal with a homocide, rape, burglery and how many deal with positive things like rescues and local heroes.

  • Talking about nothing...

  • i agree

  • BBGun you are totally brainwashed. Do you think that the hundreds of thousands of people who died by nerve agents would say they had it better under Saddam!? Women would never have the right to reveal their face much less emancipate themselves. And how in the hell does oil play into that anyway? You are very misled.

  • dude do you know thats like an american flag behind you?! better get out the matches!get a job besides sellin pot!freak!

  • WTF? Are you paying attention there marine? I am the pro American guy who knows damn well that there's an American flag behind me. If you are inferring that we burn the flag FUCK YOU! If I ever see anyone doing that I will excercise my freedom of expression by kicking their ass. And where do you get any idea that I sell or use pot you fucking retard?

  • pleza, I really respect what you're saying. Bush isn't there to make our country for the worse, but merely trying to make it better. Sure, he's not the greatest president, but he is the last to closest thing of being a terrorist. I really support you, unlike the other 70% of America who have nothing better to do except go on Youtube and assume everyone who has a different opinion is "on drugs".

  • Huzzah for you sir!

  • wow! where do you get your pot from?

    Have A Fantastic Day!

  • thank u

  • Thanks for saying what needed to be said. I've followed this topic (the protest) & I think you are the only one who hasn't lost sight on the real message: Think for yourself. I agree with you that most of those people there probably were only there because it was cool. I call it the "Baa" syndrome where people act like sheep, following each other aimlessly. Sure, I don't like Bush or the war but you have to be realistic when it comes to these matters. Thanks for staying realistic.

  • The Protester of the war are fools, They are far from peaceful. They should go get a job. They can also move to Iraq and help but that would mean leaving there video games behind.

  • How does one get facts, when it's media that tells us the facts? The victor writes the history. I don't know what's true anymore. What a world.

  • Give me a break, for Gods' sake man, I had to pick myself up off the floor when you started espousing the virtues of the US involvement in Africa is stopping tribes from 'slaying each other', quite aside from the fact that they are doing no such damn thing, have you seen the figures for gang related homicides in US? 2400 kids in LA alone jailed for gang related crimes. Helping the world? fuck off we don't want your help.

  • You don't pay attention too well. I never said we were in Africa stopping tribes from doing anything. We are there on a humanitarian mission feeding the refugees from the wars. My cousin just got back last week and went to 4 African nations to distribute food and other essentials to those regugees. Now go fuck yourself.

  • I think you hated the protesters while you were in Vietnam and that hatred is carrying over to a renewed hate for the protesters of this war. Let's face it, the Vietnam War was lost the day it started (due to politics), but it's not your fault. Let it go, you don't have to blame yourself anymore. Don't blame those college kids either.

  • I WAS a protestor and believe I was drafted because I was a protestor. After being detained by the FBI for possesing a gas mask at the '68 Dem Nat Convention I was printed and photographed. Again in '71, and then drafrted in '72. Your theory about my hate is real wrong. You are basically wrong.

  • Skull465 - You've been RID!

  • Add JBBadjob to the RID list.

    RID

    Recognize - Ignore - Delete

  • I've made a decision to stop arguing with empty headed whiners, so from right now on, I am implementing the RID policy. Recognize, Ignore, Delete

And then I'll probably block the whiners from further comments.

  • Ive noticed that most "peaceful liberals" only do personal attacks instead of attacking ideas. Also, yes, most people just hear things on tv and automatically believe theyre right because theyre far leftist even if the ideas are right, they dont think about it at all.

  • If it ain't broken, don't fix it. I fail to see why you fixate on such a miniscule detail anyway.

  • So the news media is the only reason for people hating bush? And you of course know so well whats going on in the world? tell me where do you get your information from? is it a better source than the news media? or maybe just the other party? think about things like that before sitting in front of a camera and talking bullshit

  • Sounds like I touched on a nerve. Either you agree with me and it pisses you off that I'm right, or you are just an angry asshole. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video.

  • you have some good points!!!

  • why does he feel the need to share his thoughts with the world.

But whats worse is that it has got 10,000 views

  • Your comment is that the chant is not up to par? WTF??? You have way to much free time on your hands.

It is sad that so many people are attacking a few people who took the time to actually protest something. Call me crazy, but I think we were lied to in order to support this war, we were lied to about the Iraqis' response, and about "Mission Accomplished", etc.

  • PS Bears Rule. Colts are goin down.

  • Possibly, Mr. Plaza"1", you know much more than the silly students and the rest of the UN (not to mention).

Unfortunately the way you combine your knowledge leads occasionally to extremely simple minded thoughts.

E.G : "US should get out of the UN". That shows me just one thing: Clinton or Bush does not matter, because in the US, there are dozens of rambos and supermen.

  • It's Pleza not Plaza. And after that, what the hell are you trying to say?

  • The reason they can't come up with anything new is because they are parrots. They just repeat what their Marxists professors and handlers tell them to say. Its just a rehash of the sixties, a reliving of the glory days. When you don't have a cogent, idea you attack the individual. They say they are for freedom of expression, and yet they shout down everyone who doesn't agree. This just proves the bias in the media. Typical hypocrites.

  • Very nice video, I agree 100% with everything you said.

also I am very sorry for the immature people who are not informed enough to make an intellegent counter argument

so they resort to petty name calling and insults.

skipping through your comments I noticed quiet abit.

    anyways god bless

  • My friend, I admire your candor and your stance on political arguement (I.e. prove it to me don't shout it at me). But not your politics.

If the U.N. is to be defied by the invasion of Iraq then what is the rule of law as compared to the rule of force? If a government will do as it may what moral imperative do others have to obey international law?

  • That's an easy one for me. I think the US should get out of the UN. See how easy that was? I basically agree with you in a way, but turned about. Why should the US be under the authority of all of these other nations? I'll bet you'd whistle a different tune if your country was in a bad way . They'd call the US and wonder why we weren't there in a hurry giving aid, food, money, or whatever else. The US is who they are because if who they are.

  • I am active duty military. I AGREE 100%, most people are selfish; they want to live in a fantasy world where all is perfect, without dealing with the issues of the world. Part of being an American is being willing to help people when they are in need, And be willing to sacrifice if need be. Most people my age use any opportunity to take the easy way out of anything. They have no value of hard work and discipline to achieve a goal.

  • Beaatiful man. I love that you mentioned Africa. I'm so sick of hearing people bashing the US and saying we shouldnt police the world, and then turning around and saying we need to send troops to fight in Dafur to save the innocent people being persicuted. keep it coming man.

  • There are people who have looked at all side of the issue and feel that what America has done in Iraq is not worth the sacrifice of thousands of Americans. No doubt Saddam Hussein should have been removed, but we cannot simply police the entire world. The main reason we invaded Iraq was a combination of issues including wmd's and some very weak link between Iraq and 9/11, both of which turned out to be false. To argue the war because of that might not be far off.

  • So getting beyond your argument that we "shouldn't" because people might die, what exactly do you think we should do? I'll bet if it was go to Darfur or Free Tibet then you'd be okay with that if the US got involved. P.S. We (common man) don't have any idea of "all sides of the issue".

  • How's this for a completly random agrument.

"President Bush is the next lyndon B. Johnson"..

why send innocent solders to a completly worthless wars such as Irag. Can you relate irag to vietnam. think about it Vietnam last like 10 years and were getting around to like year 7 with irag.

  • It's Iraq not Irag. It's not been 7 years, nearly or otherwise. It started in 2003, that's only 3 years ago. Vietnam and Iraq have absolutely nothing in common. If you continue to believe the hype that's being fed to you, then you will continue to live as an ignorant person. No insult intended. The only thing that ties the two together are these inane protests - which are using the same old tired out chants. Now that is what I've been trying to convey all along.

  • Bingo! I said I protested when I was a kid. Then I got drafted and tasted what being a soldier was really about. Having experienced that, I could then see how much protesting hurts people and screws up situations and never really solves anything. People that think they are "being heard" don't get it. They aren't being heard as much as they are being ignored by the powers that be.

  • Maybe you should look again with the eyes of a child. protesting did help to end that war and bring you home in one piece. I also protested the viet-nam war while my husband was serving over there.

    Patty-lame54's girlfriend

  • Although I may have some disagreements with some political issues (I think), I too am all for finding REAL reasons to criticise the government, so right on, for now

  • For the record, women were able to go to school in Iraq, under Hussein's secular rule. The women in Afghanistan were unable to seek an education.

  • Hey hey, hoe hoe, Pleza1 has got to go.

  • I have to wonder if that chant is addressing the prostitutes that might be listening. I guess you need to call out twice before hoes will listen.

  • I was mocking both you and the protesters. "Hey hey" is another common chant by protesters and is in no way a reference to your favorite pastime.

  • And I was clowning as well. Sorry you don't have the ability to lighten up. My favorite past time is travel. I get that you were trying to be funny again, but you were not.

  • manngg, u needa get laid, who cares about any of this

  • Learn not to take things literally. MTV is synonymous with mass media crap, the kind of stuff a lot of those protestors watch and get their opinions from.

    "LOL GREENDAY IS POLIKERL"

And that guy has the right to do it from his chair, because he busted his ass to Saigon and took bullets. He fought for his freedom of speech, and he fought for yours. And all you can do is call him "boring".

    Show some fucking respect.

  • He's boring? Perhaps. He's right? Yes.

Keep this up man, beat the liberal idiot MTV babies with something called logic.

And Jesus Christ, use decent English. "u" isn't a word. "btw" is an acronym for dumbass 12 year olds.

This guy is an example of what men used to be like. Even if they disagree with something, if he feels it's right, he'll go sign up rather than bitch with signs and from your couch.

  • Sappy you ignorant fuck. I do make mistakes. I'm not perfect, I'm just a Republican - near perfect. I pointed out your use of "YOUR" where it should be "YOU'RE" only to say that most of you young lemmings all make the same mistake over and over. If lemming is too big of a word for you, look it up.

  • if your saying that your whole argument is "change the chant" then i think your a bored and pointless person. secondly if you say every one is brainwashed by the media, your wrong, your saying george bush is doing what hes doing good enough? all you have to do to know that george bush is NOT doing a good job is watch him try to answer a couple of questions with big words.

  • Another uneducated ignoramus pipes in. It's YOU'RE not YOUR you ignorant little lib. Stay in school at least until you can spell and use the English language with at least a D average level. Ans stop watching so much TV - they have you brainwashed.

  • "Ans stop watching so much TV - they have you brainwashed." You spelt 'And' wrong, i think that makes you more of a dip shit since your trying to insult some one for spelling a word wrong and you cant even spell a 3 letter word. Great way to make your self look like a fucking retard :)

  • Making a typographical error (look it up) is different from using bad grammar. One is a mistake and the other is pure ignorance and stupidity. I already said I make mistakes. I'm not perfect, just Republican.

  • (continued)

Lastly, near the end it's obvious this is a partisan video. I conclude that your first video was made 'in a fit'. You should have made your argument in the first place, it's too late now.

  • (continued)

Thirdly, at least those people have the courage to go out and protest. In light of the many recent police brutality video here on Youtube, this is not something anyone does out of boredom anymore.

Fourth, why are 'they' telling us Bush is so bad? Because he is. Period. Just look at the news from other countries.

  • Firstly, I agree with your initial argument.

Secondly, I propose the explanation that the reason

Also, those personal attacks were not from the 'liberals'. Did all those people who attacked you identify themselves as liberals? No, you just assume that.

You say that you protesting at that time. Well, I'm sure protesting was a very popular thing at that time. Does this mean that you did what you did because you were just bored?

  • Yes - I was bored. I was also a young and easily impressed mushhy brained kid. I knew very little and believed a lot of what was told to me. I don't think Bush is bad. That's what you're being told - and you are believing. Lastly - I never said it wasn't partisan and I did make my argument - you are responding to it.

  • If you are bored? wow... so I don't know if you listen to the current billboard top 40, but most of that music is sample and redone from music that is from the 60's. So why is reusing chants that bad, yes there should be new ones created, but protesters shouldn't use any chants that the ones before us have use and that are shown as effective.

  • PAY ATTENTION - Manay Yes Fox is biased to the right so I tend to listen to them if any. But the others are biased as well - to the left and I try to not listen to them. All of the media is biased and I guess that makes you full of shit and hey go fuck yourself.

  • o yeah, and you actually know what's going on over in Iraq, right? The only biased "news media" is Fox, but according to you, they must be full of shit - which they are, and what a suprise, you are too.

  • well said.

  • Does anyone even realize it's YOU'RE and not YOUR when making a contraction from YOU and ARE?!? I believe there have been at least 50 comments where it is used incorrectly and it makes me wonder if anyone stayed in school.

  • I think what the person before me was trying to say was go find some "talking points" to guide you (God forbid you speak what you belive without consulting an "agenda")

  • before making irrational statements consider having an agenda for an 8min rant on Youtube. Once again the catalyst for your agrument was a chant?...

  • I dont dislike you but the video just rubbed people the wrong way in addition to all these comments...your fueling their fire

  • Digoeskidney has zero videos - zero friends - zero everything which basically shows he is simply a hater looking for people to hate. So I guess that makes him

Hypocrisy - Prejudice - and no webcam. STFU

  • You are a middle aged man why are you reducing yourself to arguing with everyone? If you do in fact not care what people say about the quality of your videos then simply stop responding to these "hater" comments..but word of advice, you are setting yourself up for negative comments by always justifying your initial irrational statements...mb plan out what you say before you say it on youtube...

  • Hypocrisy, prejudice and a webcam.
