I like this guy. I have been to three of the biggest protests in DC to see what was going on and to counter protest. Never have I seen more vile, disgusting behavior by American youth in my life. A small part of me believes some regions here SHOULD be taken over by a communist/fascist regime to show and contrast just how good we have it. There are people who have looked at all side of the issue and feel that what America has done in Iraq is not worth the sacrifice of thousands of Americans. No doubt Saddam Hussein should have been removed, but we cannot simply police the entire world. The main reason we invaded Iraq was a combination of issues including wmd's and some very weak link between Iraq and 9/11, both of which turned out to be false. To argue the war because of that might not be far off.

I like this guy. I have been to three of the biggest protests in DC to see what was going on and to counter protest. Never have I seen more vile, disgusting behavior by American youth in my life. A small part of me believes some regions here SHOULD be taken over by a communist/fascist regime to show and contrast just how good we have it. Awakening this 60's protest vibe may seem cool in movies, but in reality it was an ugly, divisive time and ultimately a victory for Soviet interests.

The reason they can't come up with anything new is because they are parrots. They just repeat what their Marxists professors and handlers tell them to say. If the U.N. is to be defied by the invasion of Iraq then what is the rule of law as compared to the rule of force? If a government will do as it may what moral imperative do others have to obey international law?

That's an easy one for me. I think the US should get out of the UN. See how easy that was? I basically agree with you in a way, but turned about. Why should the US be under the authority of all of these other nations? I'll bet you'd whistle a different tune if your country was in a bad way . They'd call the US and wonder why we weren't there in a hurry giving aid, food, money, or whatever else. The US is who they are because if who they are.

I am active duty military. I AGREE 100%, most people are selfish; they want to live in a fantasy world where all is perfect, without dealing with the issues of the world. Part of being an American is being willing to help people when they are in need, And be willing to sacrifice if need be. Most people my age use any opportunity to take the easy way out of anything. They have no value of hard work and discipline to achieve a goal.

There are people who have looked at all side of the issue and feel that what America has done in Iraq is not worth the sacrifice of thousands of Americans. No doubt Saddam Hussein should have been removed, but we cannot simply police the entire world. The main reason we invaded Iraq was a combination of issues including wmd's and some very weak link between Iraq and 9/11, both of which turned out to be false. To argue the war because of that might not be far off.

It's Iraq not Irag. It's not been 7 years, nearly or otherwise. It started in 2003, that's only 3 years ago. Vietnam and Iraq have absolutely nothing in common. If you continue to believe the hype that's being fed to you, then you will continue to live as an ignorant person. No insult intended. The only thing that ties the two together are these inane protests - which are using the same old tired out chants. Now that is what I've been trying to convey all along.

Bingo! I said I protested when I was a kid. Then I got drafted and tasted what being a soldier was really about. Having experienced that, I could then see how much protesting hurts people and screws up situations and never really solves anything. People that think they are "being heard" don't get it. They aren't being heard as much as they are being ignored by the powers that be.

If you are bored? wow... so I don't know if you listen to the current billboard top 40, but most of that music is sample and redone from music that is from the 60's. So why is reusing chants that bad, yes there should be new ones created, but protesters shouldn't use any chants that the ones before us have use and that are shown as effective.
