@moonkill3 Hold Y, then quickly tap it again and hold it. Should stay zoomed in and 'focused'. Took me a while to get used to once I had a high enough dexterity. But it's very helpful.

@datum711 Because it fires so god dammn fast it's one of the best, also after 6 bullets it has fastest reload time which is 0.75 or sth.

I have the Red Dragon, the Perforator and the Enforcer(177 dmg) but I prefer Red dragon

It has alot of DPS

@datum711 maybe becuase it fires bullets faster than any other weapon, the enforces does 177 damage but it shot one bullet per once, while the red dragon shot six bullets way faster 42 damage each, simple math

@boblio997 My best with the villagers is 125 or so. It seems a lot harder than this video. Maybe I'll try it on my save where I have the Westcliff development. I bet the bandits run a dirtier (harder) shooting range and make the targets drop faster.

in the quest westcliff developement u give barnum 5000 gold to rebuild westcliff (this happens while ur at the spire) when u come back from the spire everything is changed including the guy who runs the shooting range. instead of shooting civilians, u shoot bandits, but its better since the bandits have bigger heads. so yea.l

For the question about the villagers and the bandits. You shoot the villagers for points if you have NOT completed the investment quest AND rescued Garth from the Spire. When you have done BOTH of these there will be villagers all over the town instead of bandits and you will have to shoot the bandits instead of the villagers. I hope this has clarified any questions

This is really good tips! When I followed these tips, I got The Red Dragon. It was a few weeks ago and I have tried to polish my high score since then. My record is 262 with my boy heri and 253 with my girl hero.

My favorite pistol in the shooting range is Master Flintlock pistol. But it is a matter of taste...

Also, in the second round I only shoot the bandits on the bridge (including the one hiding behind the pole). When I did that I raised my score from 247 to 262.

For those asking about where Barnum is, you can get a Breadcrumb trail going to him, the investment is the 'Westcliff Development' quest. Just select it as your destination.

And to the maker of the video, very nice job. Thank you for the help. I got the Red Dragon, so now I have the best legendary set now. The Daichi and The Red Dragon. And I used a Master Clockwork Pistol.

Pistols are the best weapons to use in the shooting range, since the aiming stance doesn't eat up the screen for shots.

If you invest 5000 dollars with some guy in Westcliff before you go to the Tattered Spire for ten years, Westcliff will no longer be overun by bandits, but by normal villagers. That's why he's shooting bandits.

i paid garth cos I thought that i could win the shooting range after the spire mission-with villagers as targets, i was only managing about 157-160 with a flintlock pistol (reload 0.65), but after ages of practice at the range, i kept getting 171-173. Finally, I was lucky when in round 1 all the villagers popped up next to each other rather than far away and i managed 78 on round 1!!!!! (final score of 200 exactly)

Yeh the range is hard you just have to take your time i tried about 10 times to day and got my best of 168(SO CLOSE) and im gonna try tomorrow using these tips but im using a master clockwork as its the same as a turret but like 1/6 of the reaload time as you only reload every 6 shots and u only click the gun not load 6 bullets in.

@niranhguav if you opt to give barnum 5k gold to help him improve westcliff, it will become a "better" city, more like oakfield before the spire with stalls, buildings you can own, etc. Anyway, if you do give him 5000, i will pay you back 50000 or so i believe. Anyway, one of the city improvements is a normal citizen runs the shooting gallery (as opposed to a bandit) and you have to shoot bandits. which have bigger heads (thus easier 3 point shots)

The range is hard, I see it as you either have the knack or you dont, I got it after around 20 attempts. I feel a bit proud as I managed to do it shooting the bandits on my evil game so I can keep westcliffe as a bandit zone. My first 20 attempts were with the master flintlock pistol but I ended up using steel clockwork, within 2 attempts since if you miss you can shoot again instantly. After I got the red dragon the attempt after got me the doll whilst with the flintlock just scored 100-140.
