Sorry to hear that. It's a great sport, and it feels great just to be in the water. I thought about swimming for college, I moved, didn't have free pool to practice, had to work, and just wanted to keep my grades up. Now, I'm an old fuck (at 30). lol I would have to pull a Dara Torres or something.

the best swimmer in the history of swimming has been alexander popov (21.64 in 50 meters free style without a miraculous swimming trunks). today popov would swim about 20:50 with a "fast skin" miraculous swmimming trunks.

Grant Stoelwinder (sullivans coach) estimated that the new suit would take 0.3 off compared to the FS-PRO.

AS popov swam in speedos and no cap I think he would be more in the 21.0-21.1 range (-0.6) because if he would do 20.50 a lot of old school swimmers with pretty bad technique and bad slow swimming regimes that swam like 21.9-22.1 would do really good times today like 21.5 - 21.6 and such.
