The lyrics are actually taken from part of the Carmina Burana.

Latin: Fas et nefas ambulant / pene passu pari; prodigus* non redimit / vitium avari.

English:Just and injustice walk / almost in step; the reckless makes not good / the vices of the miser.

*Note that 'prodigus' is split between the second and third verse, and the 'vi' of vitium is silenced in this version.

The only reason I like the N64 version better is because you can turn off your items. On the PS2 version, you can't. Otherwise, I would like it better!

One other thing to note is that in the actual singing on this track, the lyrics get "cut up" a little oddly on a couple lines, like so:

So if it sounds like they almost but don't quite exactly match up, this is probably why. Maybe this is how it's supposed to be sung, or maybe Mr. Paul just took some creative liberties, I dunno, but there ya go.

One of the lines is "Fas et nefas ambulant / pene passu pari" (Justice and injustice walk / step in step) if that will help you find the full lyrics.

Look for the Gauntlet Legends Designer Diary on gamespot, I think there was an interview with the GL composer, John Paul, in there.

Heh heh! Fortunatly I used the 10000K name so I had a good suppy of items to take care of the boss without too much trouble but there were times when it my Valkyrie's health was at critical and I never get tired of hearing the Announcer's line when he says Blue Valyrie Needs Food BADLY! So nostalgic. XD Ans yes, the Sky Lance is very awesome indeed and I also like the BFG and Double Bow of the archer as well and if both were combined it would make the most perfect Turbo move ever indeed! XD
