Love the sound of these and wish I had shelled out the 20 dollars to get one from a music shop in Haight-Ashburry back when I was there in 1988!!! Now on dissability I wonder if Ill ever get the money for one now.....

Just grab one and start plucking. If you play some musical instrument it should be real easy to transfer what you know to kalimba, because it does not require any special technique.

So these are ninth chords? Good to know. I've never learned the theory, just playing whatever sounds right, so I had no idea that these were ninth chords.

I find my tunings by trial and error, just shift the tines until it results in something nice.
