Dang i also just realised somethin else he talks about Kate at some point in his speech maybe part 3, and talks about how she represents evangeline christians and canada etc etc whereas that is her REAL name. I doubt they went after a person who is canadian and happens to have a christian name. I mean sure if theyd given her that name in the series but this claim is ridiculous. Im havin real doubt about this guy :/

@SpeedOverStrength I know its not but I dont understand why a man of so much intellect and stature in Iran should be making claims about things that have no real base in the series and displaying them as fact. I dont think he even makes it clear that he is switching between referring to actors and characters in his speech.

@SpeedOverStrength yes that is true BUT the fact that his middle name is rarely mentioned in the series means that he should probably refer to the character by first name. To be fair it is a pathetic criticism to make but it just got on my nerves xD

@aae1234 the main point is his name is still Desmund David Hume. If strategic tv or cinema is trying to get a message through to your subconscious they are not going to write it on an actor's forehead.

this guy has a lot of flaws in his arguments. For example, there are African representatives on the island (Mr Eko) and the real representative of the latin americans is Hurley. Also he got it wrong where he says that the John Locke in the series is the representative of John Locke (the philosopher) ideas since many of John Lockes actions in the series contradict his philosophy. I havent watched much of this yet bt alrdy im disappointed.
