@ianjayne05 Her name is Muriel Day, an Irish singer born in 1942.

@ianjayne05 Muriel Day (real name Muriel Galway) isn't actually singing the song, she is miming here to someone elses voice. The original singer who had fallen pregnant was unable to fulfil her obligations. I'm not sure who this person was, but the song could well have been a big hit during this twist era, had it been released. However Muriel day was a singer and did go on to sing for Ireland in the Eurovison song contest and had one or two hits.

Yes or fancast and hulu as far as that matters? I live in the US and ever so often this film is shown on the Flix movie channel. Other British films of the early 60's that are in rotation on this movie network are Saturday Night Sunday morning and A Taste of Honey.
