Yes they can have 'deep meaning' but it's still something most people want others to see at some point. To deny that this is an aspect of our nature (ego) is to lie. It can be similar to buying new clothes or a new hair do. We don't buy new clothes or get a new hair do for any 'deep' reason - we want to look good. So i guess we're all douche-bags?

Soooo, if one wanted to ensure they'd be on the show they'd think of some dramatic reason to speak of as the reason for their tattoo. I'm not saying she just used her mother's illness as an excuse to be on television....but it's possible. Her reason for the tattoo really doesn't make much sense with a peacock. I don't see any symbolic connection. Do you?

@therockguitarist96 think of it as ranging from a cat scratching you to a thick piece of glass cutting into you (common feeling on the ribs I've heard). It really isn't that bad. Its mostly annoying pain. I would say that the pain post-tattooing is worse, and even that isn't really bad. It just depends on your pain threshold and where you're getting one. :)

I want to get tattoos over stretch marks. ESPECIALLY some horrible ones on my mid to lower back and on both sides of my hip....would anyone recommend it from experience or other wise? everything abotu that tattoo is inaccurate. The flower on it is a native Hawaiian flower, Peacocks are from India/Burma depending on the Pavo. The wings are also completely wrong, no color variety has wings that are tipped like that. I get doing colors that aren't seen in nature, but at least get the details correct. I would call it a fail in art, but pretty in color. Also, all peacocks are male. Peahens are the females and they do not have a train. So that in no way was to remember her mother
