I'm tired of Peter Fitzgerald, because he is a grandstander; moreover, he ordered the arrest of Blagojevich without the physical ecidence to back it up. Lastly, Peter Fitzgerald makes me think of Herman Munster everytime I see, and he sounds like he has a wash-rag in his mouth, because he's so inarticulate. He really should step down as U.S. Attorney. Becsue he's trying to become a modern verison of J. Edgar Hoover.

it appears a number of you dont understand the way the electorate functions, so let me clear something up for you. the senators from a state and the governor of that state have nothing to do with one another. in fact, replacing a senate seat is about the only time the governor gets involved in a state's senatorial process. Obama has nothing to do with Blagojevich. Instead, it is the people of the state of Illinois who are responsible for electing this man who has been corrupt for years.

I am a true conservative who has been let down by his party. Bush has been anything but conservative as president and you know it. Government has grown under his watch and he continues to act like a liberal with all the bailouts! Conservitives are trying to stop Congress and him on the bailouts, I agree with them! I am a Reagan conservative, not a Bush. As for Obama, I think he is the most corrupt one of then all!

I totally agree with you, Bush is not a conservative, I live in louisiana so we love Jindal here, now he is a true conservative. While I agree with you for the most part, Bush has kept us safe since Sept 11th, and for most of his presidency the economy was good, while he's no Ronald Reagan, History will be much kinder to Bush in years to come. Obama will be a weak, scandal ridden president, and although you are unhappy with the GOP right now, it's better than the alternative..
