I miss those days....I'm Palauan and back then flights from Guam, Manila and the Micronisian Islands used to come in during the day. The Captain would take passengers around the islands showing them the rock islands and everything Palau has to offer, Now Damn night flights can't see a Damn thing.....
@elomasami I sure enjoyed the daytime flight to Palau and wanted to go back. But yeah, it's the evening flight that ruined it. Sad. Anyway thank you for watching! :-)

Meron, and it's issued upon arrival. Before you travel to Palau, ask ka narin if there are changes about visa issuance. Most likely masasakyan mo Continental Airlines to Palau in case you'll go there. Ask ka narin sa Continental Ticketing Agent kung ano requirement. All we had was a return ticket and Philippine passport for documents. Palau immigration just asked us kung magkano dala namin (minimum $200 per person). Visa was issued on the spot. That's it. :-)
I have the Part 2 of the Tokyo-Chocago/NYC, and another trip on a Los Angeles-Manila flight, and hopefully this year's trip would be on an A330 from Tokyo to Bangkok. I've saved up on some award tickets. :-)
You mean kung nagland kami tapos nagso-snow? Di pa. Mahirap kasi magtravel lalo na pag winter, madalas may delay.
Thanks, for the video. Have you seen the runway on Saba Island in the Caribbean? It has cliffs at both ends! There is also a Chinese pilot that overshot the runway - the wheels hit the dirt at lift off. Search "Saba landings"
chukkoi, there's a lot of questions that I would like to ask you about coz you have the same passion with my bestfriend and now we're talking bout you...If you don't mind can I ask for your e-mail address? thanks... By the way, this is what my friend would like to ask you: "When you were at the cockpit and wearing that headset, what was the most memorable conversation between the pilot and the tower that you can still recall?
Nice job guy... You must be in business which require lots of traveling to get that frequent flyer miles. Great video! Pag International pilot na ko, madali kitang makikilala dahil ikaw lang ang may camera during take off and landing :) Here in the U.S. there very strict including JAL.
Panay monkey business ako, haha! Nah, I travel transpacific often coz my mom's in L.A. and I go back and forth once or twice a year to see them- thus the frequent flier miles! :-)
Sige, kitakits nalang sa plane. Pag makita kita, ipaalam ko na kung pwede kita interviewhin para sa travel vids ko a, naks! :-)
Nope. Visa is issued upon arrival, and you need to have at least $300 cash in your wallet, and a return ticket. It's still advisable to check for updates as there might have been recent changes that I'm not aware about. :-)
Continental Airlines is a U.S. carrier based in Houston (I think), and also owns or has a sister company Continental Micronesia (if I'm not mistaken) that operates routes outside the U.S., in the Pacific and Asian region. Yung FA, when I was chatting with her, is based in Guam but has been working for CO for years and has learned our language.
"Is this allowed by the FAA?" - lol! You are lucky that you got an oppurtunity to sit on the captain's seat in the cockpit. That would never happen with airlines here in the states.
Hahaha! Yeah. The captain was even the one who took my solo pic at the cockpit! :-)
He gave me a few moments to look at the instruments, answered questions, explained how things work, etc. I just had to excuse myself coz I think I was already staying in the cockpit too long, haha! I appreciate the accommodation by the captain though. It was fun.

Visa is issued upon entry sa Palau. Basta bring enough cash to cover your stay, tsaka return ticket.
