  • MY VISA BA SA PALAU??

  • Meron, and it's issued upon arrival. Before you travel to Palau, ask ka narin if there are changes about visa issuance. Most likely masasakyan mo Continental Airlines to Palau in case you'll go there. All we had was a return ticket and Philippine passport for documents. Palau immigration just asked us kung magkano dala namin (minimum $200 per person). Visa was issued on the spot. That's it. :-)

  • ah...uppon arrival ka nila bbgyan ng visa???if mismo andun kn????haha!!LOL!cn i request???pd ba mg vid ka ng mga chop mu sa psport mu???

  • Ano kamo?

  • how long was the flight?

  • what a nice cockpit what aircraft is that

  • Read the video's info.

  • 737-800

  • Manila

  • 0:56 - 1:02

    Awesome!!

  • wow gorgeus.. bad qusetion ,but is a ticket to micronesia expensive ?

  • A rountrip ticket from Manila to Palau is about $700.

    :-)

  • oh damn

and even from germany damn expensive ...

  • nice trip. lucky you were able to look into the cockpit.

  • Did you ride the same aircraft after visiting

    Palau.

  • Going back to Manila? I think they used the same aircraft. :-)

  • Mitch, do you have any other videos that you haven't uploaded that have to do with NWA?

  • I have the Part 2 of the Tokyo-Chocago/NYC, and another trip on a Los Angeles-Manila flight, and hopefully this year's trip would be on an A330 from Tokyo to Bangkok. I've saved up on some award tickets. :-)

  • You mean kung nagland kami tapos nagso-snow? Di pa. Mahirap kasi magtravel lalo na pag winter, madalas may delay.

  • I've seen him (the pilot)!! He's really a good guy =) He was also the pilot on my flight from Guam to MNL on May, 2007.. =)

  • AINAKO U GOIN TO MY ISLAND..OK PARE

  • Ali! Ali! Ali! :-)

  • "PARE" and "AINAKO" is not palauan I know so cause i'm palauan.

  • it's Not Koror airport but actually called Airai Airport. That's the original name now it's Palau International.

  • r u palauan cause i am

  • Saba Island's airport is great. Check out the "Altiport" in France too. They featured it in a James Bond movie.

  • Saw one vid. Looks like a fun ride landing there and taking off! :-)

  • Thanks, for the video. Have you seen the runway on Saba Island in the Caribbean? It has cliffs at both ends! There is also a Chinese pilot that overshot the runway - the wheels hit the dirt at lift off. Search "Saba landings"

  • Wow!!!

Just by watching the vids, it's like landing a commercial airliner on an aircraft carrier, haha!

  • Nice vid, enjoyed this - thanks!! :)

  • I believe you're also an aviation fanatic so Do you also wish to fly with the Boeing 777-300 ER and an Airbus Industrie 340-600?

  • Yup, I am. B777, I already flew on it. A340, not yet.

  • chukkoi, there's a lot of questions that I would like to ask you about coz you have the same passion with my bestfriend and now we're talking bout you...If you don't mind can I ask for your e-mail address? thanks... By the way, this is what my friend would like to ask you: "When you were at the cockpit and wearing that headset, what was the most memorable conversation between the pilot and the tower that you can still recall?

  • Email? Use Chukkoi2 as my yahoo email. The comments wont let me post proper email addresses.

Memorable conversation? The pilots of CX were laughing at the way the people at the control tower in Manila speak english, haha!

  • I like the sound of Tagalog, in the speakers

    :-D Hehe

  • Nice, nice, nice vid. Sense of humor and good shots. Next hollidays: PALAU.

  • Nice job guy... You must be in business which require lots of traveling to get that frequent flyer miles. Great video! Pag International pilot na ko, madali kitang makikilala dahil ikaw lang ang may camera during take off and landing :) Here in the U.S. there very strict including JAL.

  • Panay monkey business ako, haha! Nah, I travel transpacific often coz my mom's in L.A. and I go back and forth once or twice a year to see them- thus the frequent flier miles! :-)

and most all.. ang ganda ng mga reefs sa Palau...

  • Do we need visa (filipinos) going to Palau?

  • Nope. Visa is issued upon arrival, and you need to have at least $300 cash in your wallet, and a return ticket. It's still advisable to check for updates as there might have been recent changes that I'm not aware about. :-)

  • wow lagi nabyahe sarap naman..mayaman ehehe

  • Di naman. Most of my travels are from the frequent flier award tickets that I earned. :-)

  • Great video, Thanks for sharing it

  • Continental Airlines is a U.S. carrier based in Houston (I think), and also owns or has a sister company Continental Micronesia (if I'm not mistaken) that operates routes outside the U.S., in the Pacific and Asian region. Yung FA, when I was chatting with her, is based in Guam but has been working for CO for years and has learned our language.

  • "Is this allowed by the FAA?" - lol! You are lucky that you got an oppurtunity to sit on the captain's seat in the cockpit. That would never happen with airlines here in the states.

  • Hahaha! Yeah. The captain was even the one who took my solo pic at the cockpit! :-)

He gave me a few moments to look at the instruments, answered questions, explained how things work, etc. I just had to excuse myself coz I think I was already staying in the cockpit too long, haha! I appreciate the accommodation by the captain though. It was fun.

  • wow, always travelling ha..kainggit naman!

    :-)

  • Sino kasama mo?
