  • Very power full

  • God long live Bosnia and Herzegovina ,my one and only homeland !

I ljepse. Tako sve ima vise smisla. I smrt. I zivot."

Nemamo ponosa, nemamo hrabrosti. Biju nas, a mi smo i na tome zahvalni...

  • God bless all the Bosnian s who lived through this horrible slaughter on humanity. Peace to "All" please!

  • Nikad nisam čuo da neko ljepše izgovara Bosnia i Sarajevo.

  • Thank you Cranberries on this song and thank you on everything that you done for Bosnia during the war.

  • mnogo lepa pesma

  • For years, I totally forgot this song existed. I still love it!

  • I cry everytime i hear it...

  • gosh, i love it so much...

  • this gorgeous song ends with a lullaby /5:04/

(i had a toy when i was a child and it played this llullaby.) i'm looking for this melody for months but i haven't find it yet.please please please help me!! if you knew something about it, i would be thankful for it!

  • @lboril It's Brahms Lullaby...it's quite well known, just search for it

  • @BrotherJohn8 thank You sooo soo much (: (:

  • Bosnia is waiting for u sweet CRANBERRIES :))))

  • I love the wistful musical-saw (or could be the Ondes Martenot which has a similar sound).

The messages here are very simplistic but pop-bands aren't political or social analysis - as a song, it's a very good song, as incite on the situation in former Yugoslavia in the 90s, not so good.

  • It's so strange, she asks in the end 'When do the Saints go marching in?'..I'm from Sarajevo and the exact reason why I decided to learn English was the song 'When the Saints go marching in', when I was about 8, I wanted to sing it so...

  • @amir071 im not sure if im right or wrong but i think what she means by that is basically wen do the saints come in 2 stop all the evil thats going on

I <3 BOSNIA

  • it's like a cry of the soul...

  • I like The Cranberries music!!!!!

  • why bosnia being unkind? didn't the serb army massacered bosnian people?

  • @fairuzi who massacreded serbian people in bosnia? again serbian army?

    make love,not war.

  • @deglingooo you must be ignorant about history.

  • @fairuzi i think she is singin about surroundings and things that happen to Bosnian ppl , and that was unkind..like situation was unkind or somethin :)

  • @fairuzi i was a kid during the war,my town was destroyed by bosnian and croatian army,my grandparents were in prison, their home was burned and destroyed... u probably heard only about bosnian (muslim) victims... u really should read more books, not only from sarajevo... (if u r so interested in bosnian war).

  • @deglingooo First of all, Bosnians, are the people who live in Bosnia, not muslims,christians..People died on both sides, that's war, don't say it's our fault or your fault,it's the fault of the people who wanted the war.Did you want the war?18 years have passed, and you still talk about what happen before? You live in the past, you will never see the present nor the future if you keep looking backward my friend.Do you know how many other were killed, tortured, how many houses burned..It' not just you .

  • @AjdoPajdoLp i agree with u, many people lost their lives and homes..and war is the biggest shit. i just wanna say that muslims are not the only victims in bosnia, that was my point. greetings

  • @deglingooo Of course not,I'm muslim,and I know that 'we' killed as well,that's war.Take care m8

  • @deglingooo not the only, but shurely most inocent

  • @fairuzi I think the singer feels that seeing what happens in Bosnia is difficult. It is difficult to believe in peace and humanity after being there/seeing it. So it was unkind to her vision of the world.

  • I dont get it....Why was Bosnia so unkind? :/

  • @Sijiooo93 I think the song means that what happened in Bosnia, when Bosnia was attacked, was unkind to the people who lived there.

  • @plyrgheorghe ohkkk, i guess that makes sense...They should have rephrased it :/ and thank you for clearing that up :)

  • @Sijiooo93 shes just saying the surroundings were vicious and brutal to the people who lived there. Not the bosnians or bosnia, what happened to the bosniaks and the war was unkind.

  • This song is heartbreaking. But i can't not write, that the pics which you used in this clip are from "Zombie" and describe Northern Ireland aka Ulster.

  • @SrpskiHokejas19

  • I love Sarajevo, Edna, Bosnia ... !!!

  • Ponosna bosanka :) Sretan Dan nezavisnosti svim iskrenim i pravim bosancima :)

  • @BoSnIanChOlO The song is as old as the war here, so this is how they wanted to show the world what was happening around here, odgovaram na engl da i ostali mogu skontati...

  • @BoSnIanChOlO obviously you like reggeton, so don't listen to this kind of music if you don´t like it

  • @BoSnIanChOlO you';ve obviously got no idea what the song is about, its a dedication song to all the lives lost and families destroyed in the genocide of bosnia from 92 - 95, and u call urself a bosnian, maybe u should learn some of bosnias history

  • after hearing this song,,I am glade I am Bosnian ,,thank you for this

  • We lived peacefuly. Some of us believed in no God but the life itself. Some of us did pray, some of us didnt. Noone asked the other one, to which God did you pray today. We all had televisions, watched Ninja Turtles cartoons, we were sliding down the hills during the winter, going on the sea during the summer. We drew cars, we wore T-shirts and Jeans, we listened to MJ. Our cities had skyscrapers, trams, trains, buses. They started killing us. They gave us religion, which they used to destroy us.

  • @MirzaM86 Who gave you religion? Turks did 500 years ago . Then in the 90's you used your religion to your full advantage. "bosnjaci" or english "bosnjaks" is a made up nationality , you didn't have an national identity until Tito gave you one in the 70's.Your no victim in the war , your as an equal blame , if your so good , why did you want to break up Yugoslavia?

  • @SrpskiHokejas19 And that is relevant how? How does that have any significance or anything other then you wanting to look clever or to seem like you are making valid arguments? Yea, it is our fault that serbs killed 8000 muslim men in boys in Srebrenica? It is our fault that Serbs killed over 1500 children during the siege of Sarajevo?

  • @MirzaM86 I can tell you get most of your information from the internet and CNN , why don't you mention the 3284 Serbs civilians that were murdered by naser oric's brigade ? is that not also a crime. Your Srebernica massacre was another good example of a heavy lose , 3000 or more of those 8000 men were from naser oric's brigade , 900 people whos names are on the monument have been found , voting in the Bosnian elections after the war.

  • @SrpskiHokejas19 Didnt I just told you that 3000 dead Serbs you claim, are proven to be Serbian propaganda? I told you exacly that in lower post. I know that you would use that, because that is basically only thing you Serbs use to Justify genocide you commited, and it is totally false. Y funny about your saying about 900 false names (number of these names are actually lower then 10) but fail to mention already 6000 identified DNK confirmed victims?

  • @SrpskiHokejas19

And that doesnt matter because "900" false names (which si a totally filthy lie) makes other 6000 people come to life right?

  • @MirzaM86 to this day , names of the people that are on the monument are being found living in places like Switzerland , Germany , Austria.

  • @MirzaM86 , all sides lost children , mothers , fathers , aunts and uncles , your 1500 is nothing special , yes its sad .

  • @SrpskiHokejas19 Not really...Big majority of dead civilians are Bosnians / Muslims. Actually Serbs lost over 600 civilians during the war. Just the fact that during the Sarajevo siege, Serbian terrorists killed over 1500 children says everything. And you do know that Serbs targeted muslim populated areas. It is confirmed by witnesses in Hague. There is no point in furthr arguing so you can leave this link.

  • sta to serete vas dvojica na engleskom a isti vam je maternji jezik...

  • What a boring shit of a song. And fucking Sarajevo isn't only fucking city in the country!!! And this shitty song was released in 1996 when war was already over!!! Bono jebeni Vox!!!

  • @JuraBL

Go crawl back in your hole, you offensive troll! One of my longtime friends happens to be Bosnian himself, and if you said what you said in your comment to his face, you would be dead right now! Show some respect, you bigot!

  • @Mirza glup si momak!!!Kraj!!!

  • @ventueternu Im not hating anyone. I just telling facts and truth. The truth is that Bosnian-Serb army killed more then 10000 people in Sarajevo of which 1500 are children. It wasnt done by aliens, africans, klingons or anyone else, but them.

  • @MirzaM86 How did you found these "facts"? Or did you produce them? Don't you think that this song is dedicated to all victims no matter what religion they belong to? Or you don't understand the artists? It is not about taking sides or who's right or wrong. It was about divide and conquer by greater power, as in any other war. Free your mind

  • @natashonna Not really. Its about victims of Bosnia war, or to be precise victims of Bosnian genocide commited by Bosnian Serbs. There isnt "right" or "wrong" there is truth and reality. Its not my fault your nationality is probly Serbian and that you dont like what some Serbian people did. That still doesnt change anything.

  • @ventueternu

No there is truth supported by facts and evidences, on which Hague convicted tons of your generals including Stanislav Galic for Sarajevo siege. So Bosnians are not actually writting history here but indenpendant and court such as Hague tribunal. So "Bosnian side", or "Serb side" doesnt really matter here. THere are not 2 sides in war crimes. There is side that does them (which cannot be in anyway justified) and side that is done upon.

  • Yaşasın özgür kosova, bosna

  • im from bosnia...and this song is one of my fav. song..so sad :'(

  • BTW... this is the vid for zombie if yall didn't notice.

  • @sanmarcos2552 The vid seems to be a mix of both Zombie and Ode To My Family...but that's not a bad thing...

Don't mean to generalise, but both Bosnia and Northern Ireland in the 1990's seemed to have similar problems...so the video is kind of apt... K.

Cracking song. Cranberries are the best!

  • It is estimated that over 1500 children were killed in Sarajevo due to constant shelling and bombing by Bosnian-Serbs. I am not saying this to make you care, but to remember, because it is a fucked up world, it is a world in which kids turn to numbers.

  • @MirzaM86

you talk how world is unfair, "fucked up", and yet, your coment is full of hate and propaganda. well Mirza, if you know facts so well, tell me, how did war start in sarajevo? let me refresh your memory- it was a wedding.ringing bell?just listen to "tri ratna havera" it takes two to make a war, people died on boath sides. and if you can't accept that, if you still have needs to spread hate, stay away from facts and "world's a shit" stories, 'cause you don't have a clue what it means

  • @ventueternu Well its hard to accept that because Serbs killed over 10000 people of which is 1500 children during constant shelling and bombarding :S You know these facts kinda diminish everything you just said. And because it is true, and because I said the truth, I spread hate and propaganda? :S

  • @MirzaM86

you're just repeating the same things-i can't call them facts, you said before.and i'm still waitnig the answer-how did war start in sarajevo?and why you don't talk about what happend to the soldiers from serbia, boys 18 years ald,who served military time(or is there another expresion)in sarajevo?or to the soldiers in mostar? etc, etc, etc.if you want to talk about war- talk about war.because this yours one side stories are propaganda, and they're full of hate.

  • @ventueternu THat is your choice to accept facts or not. Facts and 1500 dead children are there, you acceping that on youtube is really not that important. It is your choice to accept facts of 6 million dead Jews in II world war, but your act of accepting or not, will never change truth and reality. The war started when Serbs killed Suada Dilberovic and Olga Susic on the bridge during the protests.

  • @ventueternu You mean dobrovoljacka incident? If court says its a crime, then crime it is. If it is proven that someone is responsible for that crime, he should be convicted end of story. It is not a crime just because you Serbs says it is :)

  • @MirzaM86

The war stared when people who were at the wedding were killed. It was Serb's wedding, but you keep to ignore thoose facts...just like ather events I was takling about. And I'm not going to acuse any other nation for doing that-it's known who did it, but i'm not going to talk about that, not here, not anywhere 'cause my intention isn't to acuse or offend anyone, and you're doing just that. You clearly have no itention to even read closely posts i've written and to understand what...

  • @ventueternu Just as you say war started at wedding I can just as say the war started when Olga Susic and Suada Dilberovic were shot on the bridge and killed. Yes and because of a murder of a Serbian citizen by some bosnian renegades, Serbs killed over 10 000 people in Sarajevo, and 8000 in Srebrenica, and over 100 000 other during the war :S, and they wanted enthnic cleansed Bosnia also because of that :S

  • @MirzaM86 Stop using the term "genocide" as an escape goat for your heavy loses in the war. You lost the war , due to losing the war you suffered heavy loses , both civilians and soldiers. Yes all sides committed crimes , Muslim , Croat , Serb . Yes its hard to except a loss , but accept it ,Stop acting like a victim. most of the facts from you are bullshit , even the UN has scaled down their numbers. You say its crime to kill musilm , but not a crime to kill serb.

  • @SrpskiHokejas19

But sistematically killing tied up bosnian civilians in remote locations, and throwing grenades on a city that civilians live in, is a act of genocide and terrorism according to ICTY judgements. Y both commited crimes, but serbs commited 90% of crimes while other parties 10%. But that doesnt matter right? My facts are al lfrom ICTY judgments.

    P.S. Your nickname says everything.

  • @SrpskiHokejas19

  • @MirzaM86 please explain where in the world it says Serbs committed 90% of the crimes? like i have stated before , all Muslims just like you believe that it is a crime to kill one of your own but its not a crime to kill a Serb , you think that crimes you have carried out are some sort of holy acts , to defend Islam.

  • @SrpskiHokejas19 When did we comite crime against Serb civilians? Name it. And if you start speaking about "Kravice" and "3000 dead Serbs around Srebrenica" that is proven to be Seselj propaganda and totally false just so you know, so any other?

  • @ventueternu

p.s. i find it hard to believe that i have to write down, because that means that hate's not gone, and that there's no future for Bosnia and Hercegovina-please don't forget the full name of the country.it seems that's true :"the most important thing is what is you name" and it seems to me that it always will be...and that's just sad...but true...

  • @MirzaM86 sad sad world we live in :(

  • @MirzaM86 You're totally right. And we never learn. It's still happening to children and adults all over the world.

  • @ohevshalomel yep just insert Libya in for bosnia now or lots of other places. We will learn we when get rid of the banskters behind it all. In Ireland not one banker in prison -says it all. People need to demand justice and then we might see an end to such things

  • @itoldyousoisaid I don't mind an honest businessman, even if he's very rich. But a businessman who gets bailed out by taxpayers for making bad decisions, or who gets rich by "investing" in the government of a foreign country, driving it further into debt, or who gets special favors from elected officials--that's intolerable. If a few high-ranking politicians and their corporate bed-buddies were swinging from lamp-posts, that would do a great deal to improve the lives of many people.

  • great song... so touching..

  • god i cry so much when i hear this

  • Bosnia now is even more death then in war. Hate, goverments that only steal money and in time of elections spreading hate amongst people.

We need one president, one prime minister!

Love don't hate! Life is just to short!

  • touching song huge like :)))))))

  • I hope that commanders soon will enter the prison from holland

  • @deli10lu

Yeah those muslim genocidal people really deserve justice.

  • @Deneris76 shut the fuck up you retard...

  • @bobiwank
