but I have a question about UV mapping : how to UV map with a video, not a mere image (eg : to make a TV screen with actual videos on it ) ?

Thanks but to be honest, I havent been doing much with Blender at the moment. I am mostly doing painting tutorials. You can find other lessons about putting video into Blender as you describe.

I figured it out--select eye, shift-select head, then hit control>P.

Yes it is there in the course, but if you happen to just look at one video, it may not be apparent. Originally this was a dvd that I sold.
