I'm going to get this LP and i don't know which one has better sound quality, the new re-release on Music On Vinyl wich is 180 gm vinyl audiophile quality, made on pure wax not recycled or simply the first pressing from 1994 on Columbia that i found actually a sealed copy here in Milan - Italy.

New Re-releases on 180gm vinyls sound great but sometimes first pressings can still sound better because they use tube amplifications instead of transistors..

Anyone can tell me wich one should i get?

yeah, Music on Vinyl reissued two AiC albums, and they're planning to do more. i can't wait to see new copies of AiC "Tripod", the originals on vinyl are just too expensive, and rare :\

@BSzili Not necessarely the "wrong" place as much as, I think, wrong time. About a few weeks ago numerous copies (both sealed and used) of the "Tripod" LP was on eBay. And the cheapest I saw went for like under $30 (there was even one on Buy It Now for $30!). Now, before that, during the several month long "Tripod" drought the album wasn't hardly seen on eBay except for one time when it went for $70-80, can't remember exactly... Hope you get one though! The vinyl version of the album is stunning

Nice to see another AIC fan...I've got Black Gives Way to Blue and MTV unplugged on vinyl...I'm waiting to get the Dirt album next month....Vinyl really sounds amazing.
