A bit fast at places, but nevertheless one of the three best live performances of the piece, I've heard. Too bad with the mistakes at the end of an almost perfect performance, but that's live performing for you! Enormous surplus!
I'm gonna have to say...it's a Casavant, right? The console gives it away as does the sound of the foundations. The reeds are very melodic on this particular organ compared to most Casavants I've played though. It sounds lovely either way. Keep up the great work!
This organ sounds very similar to the Casavant inside the RLDS Temple in Independence MO. If you are wanting a treat, look it up, especially if Jan Craybill is playing!
Most wonderful. He must come to Los Angeles.

This organ was built in 1996. It has 191 ranks and over 10,000 pipes. I am lucky-I get to hear it every Sunday!

I believe that this is Casavant built in mid 90s.

What a magnificent organ!

The registration he uses interests me. The registration sounds almost identical to that used by Robert Delcamp when he recorded this for Naxos.

The registrations are given by the composer, so if the organs have the right stops, the recordings should bear at least some similarity.

But who actually follows them to the tee? In my score it says "p" at 1:37 but it sounds a little more like "f" here :) (I like the change)

It's a great piece! Ken Cowan just played this at a concert at my grandparent's church on their 90 rank Casavant.
I wish I could have been there to hear it!
