How dare you talk to Mr.Buhner. If you truly understand fractals, why would you interview him? That is a seperation, an attempt to isolate knowledge, if you truly understood and were humble enough to see yourself in plants then your mere existence would be a satisfactory lesson in nature.
There sees to be duality in nature; Yin &Yang, positive &negative, male &female, mammal &plant. The thought occurred 2 me that there was a give &take a produce &consume dynamic at play. It seems that a balance was kept when plants decided on chlorophyll &animals decided on mitochondria 4 energy production where a duality of give &take was establish w/ plants giving &animals taking. I find myself humbled @the generosity inherent 2 plant intelligence & wonder how we cultivate respectful symbiosis.
Can you recommend some books on how to identify wild plants and herbs? I have never been taught anything about wild plants and I don't know what they are when I see them. I have some wild plants growing in my backyard and I'd love to learn what they are and how I can utilize them.
the 'soul' of the plant .. the personality .. whether its compatible to you or not ... you can tell when you commun•i•cate with 'he or she or it' ... its all synch•ronous ...
great video, thanks for sharing. As a technical query, do you put vaseline around the edge of your lens to create that fuzzy effect? Subtle, but effective.
Nice to see the face and hear the voice of the person who wrote the Secret Teaching of Plants. Great knowledge of the natural world. Thank you for this :)
I have 2 of Stephen's books - 'the Secret teachings of Plants' and 'The Lost Language of Plants. Both so well written, researched and thoughtful. They have deeply influenced the way I think about my own natural healing processes.
Many thanks for the video -it's good to hear/see him in person
I feel so grateful for the ways my father encouraged me to stay wild. I remember a little girl watching me dance and looking at me with awe as she asked me how I learned to dance like that. I told her that I'd just never been shamed out of my body and into forgetting.

Hey Daniel,
It must have been quite something to get to learn from such a learn-ed teacher like Stephen. He's so articulate! Thanks for posting this.
I love what he has to say about not getting too caught up in reductionism.
