Does Swype have spell check in foreign languages? If I type "hoola" using the Spanish keyboard, will it correct it or alert me that I misspelled the world "hola"
what about abbreviations? or foreign language abbreviations? swype is useless for me if you can't type your own abbreviations... "how r u" ? are we supposed to type everything full letters?
I don't even have languages to choose from... I click and hold on the "Q" and it just shows up as a menu which should have languages in it, but there are none.
@rav8x8 Wow, thanks a lot for the tip! On my phone (HTC Desire HD), press-holding the Q key to switch languages causes Swype to crash (force close). But with this shortcut (swype -> Q) it works just fine. :-)
It is too hard to switch languages this way. Android way (slide space sideways is much better)

It lets me Swype in Latin when using the English language pack. Does not work every time but the fact that it worked at all shocked me.

this is one of swype shortcomings. listing tens of languages with no fast way to switch between two favourites.

@rav8x8 swyping from the swype key (bottom left) to Q (top left) will switch between the last two langages used.

@rav8x8 i agree there should be a favs list and one should be able to swipe threw on the space bar or something
