forgoten14, after the shot, at 0:47, the frame around the two people is centred on one figure clutching their elbow (Neda was shot in the chest) and wearing clothes too dark to be Neda, another is one is wearing blue top and bottom (Neda wore jeans that day), but both are walking normally, no sign of uniformed police.

Also, murder predates religion. Religion can act as a channel for disrespectful, even genocidal, lusts for power, but it can hardly be its cause?

She was clearly followed. Her family thinks so too. My guess is the Iranian security services targeted a LOT of people during those riots - lots of noise, lots of distractions, so shoot people you want dead and say "they were protesting".

This was the shot! watch from the 37th second. The shooter comes out and assumes the shooting position .everybody in front who sees him runs away! pause on 42nd and you will see the killer. The image of Neda walking down the street is from 17th second which is 24 second before the shooting and is also repeated at the end . around 42 nd second she was probobly crossing the street or trying to see what is happening so she was facing the shooter.
