  • This ballad has THEE classic time signature for many ballads from the late 1950s and early 1960s. Some were slower than this song by Brenda, but they kept the general 1-2-3-POP, 1-2-3-POP rolling rhythm. Some good examples are "To know him is to love him", "A thousand stars" and "Put your head on my shoulder".

  • OMG!!!! How Have I Over Looked this Beautifull Song.

0:31 & 1:27 Hammer yr heart strings-There are so many

parts of this song sung by Ms Lee that are beyond "expression".

  • Her voice melt's my heart !

  • I just loved that song THAT summer of '64, I think it was.

  • Brenda Lee, has such a romantic voice. Hard to believe that a female who is not so tall can produce amazing power! I have no doubt she made many cry and feel the love won or lost in someone s life.. I love her talents as many do! It would be an honor to meet her. Edmondo (etsonggalaxy)

  • I must say the truth... Before Stevie Nicks was Brenda Lee. I first heard her when I very young kid. I am glad she was always on the radio. Her voice is very RARE among the FEW. It is NO wander she made fame because she deserves it!
