We just got back from Disney World. I didn't see the motorized sets anywhere but I got a die cast four car train.

Interesting.... Usually they're all over the place or atleast quite a few in Mouse Gear at EPCOT or in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom.... They could be switching them out. After a while the monorails that don't sell get sent back to the factory and a new stripe painted on them. That could be what's happening.

At the Disney parks from 2004-current. Some colors and sets are hard to find but if you look on ebay they can be found at a bit of a price though.

How big is the motorized train set and how much track comes with it?

The train is about 2 feet and the length of the track it comes with is 14 feet. 12 curved and 2 straight pieces.

Just be on the look out for the hotels and the different colored Monorails. If you want them all and see them in the parks, buy them! They're expensive and hard to find on ebay! Good Luck! I would like to see some pictures when you're done!

If you mean the Hotels and stations, I got them from the Disney World parks. They're a bit hard to find but if you look around I'm sure you can find them. They're also on eBay but a bit pricey from what I've seen!

I have a model of a monorail these look a bit bigger then mine and they they look like they fit the rial better. Mine is on it but it doesn't seem to fit quiet right plus it has no motor. I think the rail is for something more like yours. Is that true that the rail I got is the wrong one?

Hmmm...

The only other Monorail toys that I know Disney made don't fit this rail at all because they are much smaller and don't have a motor. I'm not sure which one you have as I would have so see a picture of it. But the style like mine have been for sale for a while and all are the same.
