@anunnaki2006 Shitokan Karate, Get It? Shit oken...get it, get it? I was being clever while insulting your style. Compare it to the Shuri te that whats his name originally studied.
Beautiful technique and execution perfectly demonstrated. But imagine a fighting system with no patterned movement training and no cooperative partner applications. Training that looks the way real violence looks...
@jetle25 Its curious how they change/adapted that to their system. At least they didnt do a copy/paste of the movements like some do, without using the movements of their style. I saw once a karate dude, mimicking the Wing Chun movement patterns; but those movements were not part of his repertoire. He still said that it was for sensitivity; but I doubt he understood how...

You should never block the attacks that is not going to reach you (as well as not perform attacks that clearly do not reach the opponent). Correct distance (Ma-ai) is very important.
hear it is totally wrong - never practice this way.

@kenpopete1 I can see he is The Real Deal There is a Pic of Bodhidharma in the Dojo. This Man is a master. Shuri -Ryu is The First Karate brought to America circa 1945 by Navy Boxing Middle Weight Champ Robert Trias. Shuri-Ryu is Hsing-Yi Chuan and White Crane synthesis with Okinawan Te'. I see the soft and hard and the Hsing-Yi Floating style. The Tiger in the BackGround means Tough hard Training with emphasis on Bone, Muscle strength. On my clip my Sensei knocks out my other Sensei chk it out.
This is very disappointing George. You haven't demonstrated at all in this video how white crane techniques are related to developing skills of "speed and evasion" as implied in this video's title.
George did demonstrate some joint locks, throws, and okinawan version of chi sao. But I recommend that viewers watch videos by Yang jwing ming or JuJitsu instructors like Wally Jay instead.
Again, where is speed and evasion skill development in your video series George?
Yeah, your a tenth degree like Elvis was a seventh! HA HA HA HA HA HA

Wow. Blocking straight for straight? That's gonna hurt!
Some good stuff in here- though some of the deeper and more powerful aspects of the pushing hands seem to be absent.
