Yeah I need better video editing software, and a microphone.
Among other techniques:
1) Overhang
2) Build under
Put the *wrong* color under the overhang, then the right color on those, and then the 'wrong' color on the overhang. One can fit a triple into a column if lucky.
3) Chain backwards
Build a combo step before the current beginning. This is huge. It is helpful to use spacer blocks.
I avoid h-clears like the plague: see johnalt16 for how to use these. Or krewaka for insanity.

All 7 are very nice, learning alot from them - ever though of doing a voice overed tutorial to explain what your doing, that would be nice :D
