  • i love the top two comments, those were the days indeed

  • this was one of the best nights of my life.

  • i really want to bring old emo back but not a lot of people like this music eny more....

  • @thewizard1935 I'm with you on that idea. I've actually written a few compositions. But no mates to play them with.

  • @hillsidehaven i made a few riffs that i was inspierd from braid and crash of rhinos for my old band but they didnt like them. they wanted "heavy metall" so i just left........and well to tell you the truth things arn looking so good for a music career. i hope some one steps in the game and beats all them wana bee bands!!!..

  • @thewizard1935 crash of rhinos is gooooooood man. one of the few new bands that keep this genre alive

  • I miss the days when emo bands were comprised of people, not douche bags.

  • BRAID IS REUNITING

To record new album and tour in 2011. Amazing news. Its true.

  • i think i'm the only kid around in touch with where our music that we call emo (which isn't btw) came from

i love braid, texas is the reason, sunny day real estate, lifetime, mineral, all the good 90's bands

  • This is way better live... the drummer just goes berserk...

  • damn, forgot how awesome these dudes were

  • my taste in music just keeps going back and back in time the instrumentals are just better to me

  • there is a label in london who are putting together a braid tribute album.

check it out! - tooschoolforcool . com

  • bob nanna is not a ginger. also, they made a live dvd and re-released it, its called "killing the camera". BUY IT. check out "certain people you know" its all the guys except the second guitarists new band, after hey mercedes.

  • @mowgliinthenite man i have not heard from bob since after i heard he had got cancer i wonder how he is doing.

  • @mowgliinthenite certain people I know* and yes bob nanna is awesomeness.

  • this is one of those videos that i watch over and over

  • i fell in love with this song when my friend played it for me like four years

  • so good

  • epic

  • Шикарны й трек шикарной группы.

  • So wonderful....braid are the kind of band you just turn on and get lost ..or found depending on what you need that day!

  • too right

  • A great song by a great band in the days where emotional music kicked ass rather than whining about fucking black parades and all that shite.

  • i check up on youtube for braid vids and now there are dozens if not more. this is great!!!

  • bob nanna is paving the way for gingers

  • Somebody needs to put up a cover of this song or even Never will Come, Braid is such an underrated band and was pretty influential

  • braid is a 1,000,000,000 better than hey mercedes ever was

    why did braid break up

  • I totally remember this show. Nanna asked the audience how many people there were over 18 and only a dozen people raised their hands. When he asked how many people were under 18, it was like the entire audience. It was surreal because each of these kids who didn't know them back in the heyday are just hanging on to every note and word. Braid was so unbelievably good.

  • lol, it's not that close. It's a different sound. Anyway, if you want some bands that sounds close try promise ring, cap'n jazz, friction, state route 522.

  • well, Chris was in Mineral. so that makes some sense.

  • There was a Chris in Mineral but it was Chris Simpson. Chris Broach was in Braid.

  • Listen to friction if u can find it, Old school bob nana, before braid, its pretty sick

  • weres a good place to look??

  • @macbethag speaking of sick does bob have cancer?

  • wow these guys rock...another emo band to listen to(i can't get enough of the sub genre,i've turned into a complete emotional harcore nerd, just looking for all these bands)

  • you are about 3-4 years late, but check out Hey Mercedes, it's almost all the braid members just with a different name.

  • ive heard theyre sort of pale in comparison to braid, not sure though...i think im in the same situation as u2rock55 with the emo bands but i sort of prefer being a few years late, the fact that a band still sounds good and relevant 5, 10, 15 or more years after the fact is a good way to be sure theyre really a good band. braid, capn jazz, and sunny day real estate are my favorites for the emo stuff lately

  • Too bad they really don't capture the same feeling and range in their music though. Braid was brilliant...

  • I don't think there will be another band like them. It makes me very sad I never saw them live.

  • i think i saw braid mabye 2000ish give or take a couple years. we got in free to both shows here in honolulu...damn they were bad ass.

  • Every now and every then i tend to pretend

    Im not alone.

Great use of rhyme and allitteration.

  • btw, isn't this the version registered on "Lucky to be Alive"? it sounds reeeeeaaally similar...

  • All I can say is you people calling yourselves emo and acting like dousche bags these days, take a look back to what once was...obviously this wasn't the first wave of emo, but this was the last great era, before black hair, eyeliner and douschedom took over. Put that in your Ipod

  • well spoken. love Braid :)

  • agreed.i love this band with the bands around the time like the get up kids and sunny day real estate and the old jimmy eat world.all the other emos in my school listen to mcr, panic at the disco, blink 182 and fall out boy and all these other several fake emo bands.

  • haha I remember when Pete from Fall Out Boy was some kid in the band Extinction going to hardcore shows at the Fireside bowl with huge dreadlocks.

But yeah, these guys, Jets To Brazil, old Promise Ring, being in a hardcore band, my guitarist and I used to take alot of shit for liking this stuff, but, it's just as good now as it was then. If you like these guys, check out some another Central Ill (I hate to say emo) band Park. Their older records are along the same lines as this.

  • blink is anything but emo

  • i know,maybe i shouldn't have taken example of them.

greenday and blink 182 should be thought of as modern punk pop bands, not some genre which they never were.

  • @pfp217 There was only one real wave, that was in the 90's and these guys are included in that, along with Cap'n Jazz and Sunny Day Real Estate.

  • @pfp217 Well said man haha, emo use to be a fucking genre, not a style and a trend. Now we can only look back and remember this as 90's emo.

  • @pfp217 fuck off, let the kids listen to whatever they like. Last time i heard this isn't communist russia, faggot.

  • @thundertower Last I heard, Russia isn't communist

  • i like it

    :D

    good

    :D

  • cool ^^

  • braid blew me away! Long live great underground emo rock-

  • best video ever.

  • favorite song..

  • The only reason to love the EMO music.

  • <3

    awesome

  • this is the footage that's on Killing A Camera, right?

  • a real emo band

  • BRAID WILL LIVE FOREVER

  • amazing rip band

    upload more please

    more vids please

  • Yay i was the 6000th view, and yes i do deserve i prize.

  • bob nanna can do no wrong. fuck your stupid drama.

    hours of operation. the end

  • amazing band.

  • braid is awesome.

  • <3 braid saw them on reunion tour in nj and ny

  • chris broach is the reason braid broke up. definitely no love for him.

  • did you EVEN see the documentary that this was RIPPED from? Chris Broach is NOT the reason Braid broke up... and two - don't talk like you know - if you haven't even seen the full video. This is a message from CHRIS BROACH's label... LUCID RECORDS.

#2 - you should actually check out his new music. you might even like it... instead of making uniformed guesses about Braid.

    Love,

    LUCID RECORDS

    and Chris Broach

you might ask the other guys in Braid too.

  • L'Spaerow was genius as well. I especially liked the songs The Pharmacists / 3,454 Empty Pages

Broach's solo workis just as good.

All you Braid fans need to check that shit out

    Mad props to Lucid Records

  • @LucidRecords does bob have cancer?

  • No love for BROACH?

  • PLEASE upload more.

  • I love Braid

  • bob nana is my guitar hero

  • Amazing band, they're way underrated.

  • this wouldnt happen to be from 04, would it?

i missed that whole damn tour.

  • This is definitely from their last Metro show in August '99. It's ripped from their "Killing A Camera" DVD.
