noob question: (i have the trial since yesterday) are the favorites globally saved or depending on the current system?
i other words: if i name my favortites belt 1,2,3 aso. in one system and go to another system will the favorites still be there? and if no: will they be back when i return to the system?
@EvECoPilot thanks.... an other question if i may... is there a way to bookmark my home system & station (so i can set a route back without searching my homesystem on the galaxy map?
Anyone interested in a 21 day trial instead of a 14 day trial send me a message with your email address, I will send you the buddy invite. If you end up subscribing i get a month of game time so I will pay you 100mil isk. This is plenty to buy your first few ships and fit them. I check this account a few times a day so i will get back to you very quickly.
It really works. Can flippers can be confused: Continuously jettisoning 1 unit of Velspar to leave behind garbage cans (dang appropriate name) , while mining for your own full shipboard load of any ore, has proven to be a nice payback for can flipper rats as evidenced by the grape vine and personal observation and chat channels.
I heard of a way of freaking up can flippers, that is, while mining continuously jettison 1 unit of veldspar until you load up, leaving flippers to suck on veldspar. Is this true?
Good tutorial but there are parts missing. When orbiting you have to calculate that your rat is trying to orbit you to. Especially when your guns are bellow 1km you usually want to orbit at 500 or just orbit, if you check your optimal is 1km and your falloff is 2km, this makes keeping closer to your opponent more viable then orbiting at 1km while he is too, add his speed and yours and you have 3km of distance often. Just something to consider, exact orbiting range works at +20km
Laughed at you saying that you managed to win the fight, when you obviously warped back to the station, and then fitted a second gun because you were getting your ass kicked.
@thc024 yeah... like how many? you have to kill a lot to get one worth that much, I don't know anyone to do that these days... I prefer ninja salvaging
Lol i didnt know about checking services of the station so when i wanted to rat in 0.5 sec (before i watched this obviously) and i had to keep flying to different stations so that i could find one that had a repairshop lol.
the copper tags from the rats sell for 50,000 ISK where i am. which owns. because my ship is a frigate (not noob ship) its a navidas (the biggest gallente frigate) which holds about 220 m3 space so this is a lot more effective than mining. thanks
I have 861M isk ( got from my friend..) and only about 270k SP.. i advanced too quickly i think at the starting missions and cant realy complete the remaining!!...
I use railguns at the price of 4.5M each.. but some targets they just keep on missing! also i get webified all the time so i cant move out in optimal RANGE ITS FRUSTRATING..
also i dont have enough drone skills
I pretty much only use capacitor and powergrid boosting things in my low and mid power slots.. o.o
What would be a good sec level for a thrasher? I have a feeling 0.8 will be too easy, I was thinking of a 0.6 or 0.5 but im not sure what kinda rats I would find there.
good video mate, really clear and covers all the basic elements that an advanced player often misses out in tutorials because most of it becomes second nature. Please make some more!"
Ratting in empire on a noob shit is a horrible way of making profit. To succeed at ratting you need to level up your system, means only you should be the one flying around belts so noone ocasionally kills whole good pack and you lose leveled belt. Check out my guides for an alternative ;p.
@Thedarksnw please keep in mind this video is for new players. If you want to make money, level 5 different accounts, move them all out to mine in you lvl 5 mining null sec system, create alts on the account with maxed trade skills and power trade all the market hubs, and on the 3rd alt slot level super cap producers, and pump out 5moms a month..... an easy 30bill a month profit... but thats not really relevant to a 3 day old character now is it ?
i am wondering, do all off your turrets allwas shoot at your target? in otherwords, are there any positions were your target could only be hit by 1 or two of your wepons?
No you can always shoot with all your weapons if you fit 1 gun module and then it exist 2 guns only 1 can shoot and another position other gun shoots so its 8/4
@blackhawk2442 new players dont have a nbetter ship... I could of used my carrier and thrown 15 fighters at them, but thats not really goign to help newer players now is it
to locate cosmos sites go to map and select the DED Deadspace Report Tab. Look for the cluster of Orangey Yellow star systems. These are cosmos systems. There is one cosmos constellation in each factions space.
What our friend fails to mention is that the is % chance that a faction rat can spawn in the belt. Faction rats will have a name such as domination, guristas, dread guristas, shadow serpentis. They are tech 2 rats that can drop tech II salvage (u need salvage skill level 3) They can also drop faction modules and augmentations that are worth a hell of a lot. I have had high sec rats drop augs worth 70 - 80 million.
Rats in 0.5 cosmos systems that drop unique items needed to complete certain cosmos missions. Cosmos agents give one off story mods and blue prints that can sell for 100's of mill depending on type.
Yeah these tutorials are well done, nice and easy to understand. You talk at a slow clear pace and cover all the basics. Hope to see some advanced videos from you soon ! keep up the good work, subscribing :)
lol giv'em hell.. thanks for the video man, i'm new to EvE and us new players need these kind of videos, I love the game and I thirst for knowledge on how to be better at it.
Yes but the video suggested that you can win the fight with the setup shown at the start of the video, then goes on to change it and make it easy without telling the user how or why.
im still a huge newbie cuase i only played a 14 day trial, and even that was over half a year ago so can some1 explain real quick. WTF IS RATTING!?!?!?!?!!? or a rat. i hav no idea wat either of those r, but i keep hearing the words used in these types of vids. Help????
I'm a wow'er and the more I play wow the more I feel like such a dumbass compaired to the people who play this game. I'm about to shit myself to play this. I think my PC is good enough.
im playing it for like 3 momths now and im pretty sure i dont know / understand 10% of what it is there. Applying the knowledge is a diferent story though. This game is def a retard check.
Yea, I know what you mean, but some of the stuff in the game is kind of worthless, so you don't need to know it. Well its not literally worthless, but you don't need to know how to tackle as a miner. So my 10% of knowledge is suiting me well :D
I will be plannign a market video, due to the time limits on the video's, and the focus of this vid, I did not have time to go into detail about the market orders without passing the time for the upload.
awesome tutorial.....thanks

@BalthazzarCH Bookmarks(favorites) are unique to each system.
You are basically storing a single location within a system. So NO it will not be the same in a different system.
But Yes it will still be there when you go back to the system.

I have spend 3 hours non stop mining (mining with an industrial with 1 lazor ftw?)
and i never saw any NPC enemies D: i was mining in 1.0 and 0.9 so maybe that was the reason

@McBlemmen that is correct, NPC Rat's dont spawn in 0.9 or 1.0

should set bookmarks some 1000m above or below asteroid belt. warping right into space rocks is bad for warping quickly out.
