im guessing that you encoded to an avi file then? also i d/l ur video from youtube and it showed that it was resolution 320x256, maybe this helped with the quality...
Gspot says the original video (which I still have) is 640x512 (so 1280x1024 being the resolution the game was running at since FRAPS records at high resolution). I use DivX and LameMP3 to encode FRAPS videos.
When playing the game with fraps recording doesn't give a accurate representation of the FPS you will actually get in the game. With fraps you get atleast a 20% degrade in FPS that if you werent recording.

nvidia 8800gt 512mb
I set anti-aliasing on to 16x in my nvidia control panel. And I try with 1280x1024. No AA in use,in all games. How can I fix both these issues?

FRAPS is not showing FPS in games, sometimes not for me and it's also not recording it at all.
