Hold on now. There's a big difference between being solar-powered, as you describe it in the title, and being light-activated (or, as in this case apparently, dark-activated). Does the power for the LEDs actually come from a capacitor or battery that gets charged by the solar panel?

the other one is mains powered so mirrors are not required as it lights up the whole room!
