My friend Doug at the Reynoldsburg, Ohio Gander Mountain is a Musky fishing expert. He can help you with everything you need. Give him a call and tell him Joe Jordan sent you.
The documentary I've been working on about the Olentangy is quite a large project. I'd jump at the opportunity to do one about Darby Creek as well. It takes alot of planning to get it done. I'm open to ideas so if you have any send them my way.
Joe - Nice work. Tom Allen, Ohio EPA, COFF, TU sent me your video preview. Nice work, I look forward to taking the flyrod to the Olentangy. Most of my flyfishing was on the Shenandoah River in VA. I might see you on the water. I will most likely be in a square stern canoe with an electric trolling motor. Where do you usually put in? I work at Denison in Granville, OH and still looking for fishing locations.
Piscatorialphd there are very nice places to fish in your area. If you are in a pinch for time try the area where 21st Street Crosses Racoon Creek in Newark. There are always a few smallmouth and spotted bass downstream from the bridge for your flyrod. Then check out my video on Kokosing Lake. From Newark take Route 13 North to Frederickstown. As soon as you pass the town you'll see the signs directing you to Kokosing Lake. The north side of the only western cove is the best.
Ten years ago fish like this were unheard of on this stretch of the Olentangy River but, after the cleanup efforts the River is a five star bass fishery.
Big up's Joe! Your a true friend of Mother....

Hey Joe, I think someone else has already mentioned it to you, but I would really like to see a segment like this one on the Darby.
