I thought that the English would have manufactured breach loader cannons in 1889, am I wrong? Or was this just surplus armaments used in colonial wars.
We couldn't see any particular effect of the rifling on the canister round performance. Our rounds are not made to take a spin from the rifling, and they don't as far as we can tell.
Glad you liked it! Please let me know if they ever start selling off the cannons in the old artillery museum there in Denmark. I will come over right away.

This one is an English 7 pounder mountain gun pattern, made in Kabul, Afghanistan, with Afghan markings on top.

Nice... One thing I love about live firing that you don't get in a video is the visceral feel of the compression wave.
Interesting to fire cannister out of a rifle. Do you see effect on the rifling?

>200 50caliber lead balls
Thanks, that's what we call canister. Grapeshot balls are a lot larger and not normally used in small cannons.

you guys need to try what they call grape shot in your cannon its like 200 50caliber lead balls
