  • I thought that the English would have manufactured breach loader cannons in 1889, am I wrong? Or was this just surplus armaments used in colonial wars.

  • This one is an English 7 pounder mountain gun pattern, made in Kabul, Afghanistan, with Afghan markings on top.

  • not dudes I would want angry with me. EVER

  • very awesome! lol anti palet

  • Also I would love to see some hydrogen demonstrations. Using hydrogen instead of black powder.

  • @Tesselator hydrogen lol these are blackpowder cannons

  • Is that an oak pallet or pine?

  • how did u make that

  • wow

  • For a rather small cannon, thats quite a kickback, fire that at approaching Infantry, and its gonna be a bad day for them haha

  • shooting at living things would have been more fun

  • nice, i didnt know they used to shoot chains. otherwise it was pretty awsome, one day i wanna make my own cannon and mabye a catapult.

  • We couldn't see any particular effect of the rifling on the canister round performance. Our rounds are not made to take a spin from the rifling, and they don't as far as we can tell.

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • Nice... One thing I love about live firing that you don't get in a video is the visceral feel of the compression wave.

Interesting to fire cannister out of a rifle. Do you see effect on the rifling?

  • >200 50caliber lead balls

Thanks, that's what we call canister. Grapeshot balls are a lot larger and not normally used in small cannons.

  • you guys need to try what they call grape shot in your cannon its like 200 50caliber lead balls

  • Ya - thats a great museum. 'Knew they had guns when I went there first time last spring - didn't know that had THAT many ;

  • Glad you liked it! Please let me know if they ever start selling off the cannons in the old artillery museum there in Denmark. I will come over right away.

  • well im from KAR in denmark 155mm hauvitcer cannon regiment witch was dismantled 4 years ago and mmmmm i enjoyed this persantation

  • cannon/shotgun

  • holy shit I love this sound! :D

  • You guys are on the fast track to becoming my new heros. Shouldn't this be titled AP instead of AA?

  • AA means "anti-anything."

  • umm? i thought it was Anti-Aircraft
