This is so touching. When they show the audience and you see the daughter and what must be the grandchildren of the man who was supposed to sing along with this gentleman, but didn't because he died earlier in the film, I being to tear up.

This is an incredible moment in the film Young @ Heart. No matter how corny this clip might look to you, just watch the film. Fred Knittle paid Coldplay an incredible honor with this performance. There could be no deeper meaning to this song, with the sense of loss in his heart. I love this.

his name is Fred Knittle, sadly he passed away on January 1 2009 from congestive heart failure... I recommend signing off of YouTube and rent the whole Young @ Heart DVD, it is a remarkable documentary that will make you laugh cry and want to sing your heart out...
